When you split a port, after the split the ports need to be half the area as the combined port.

Either the distro block can't handle the current that is going through it or there is resistance with the connections. Either one will cause heat. Measure voltage across it to see if there is any drop across the distro block. That will also tell you if there is resistance there.

Exactly the point I was trying to make. I hadn't thought about that way until one day someone I worked with was looking at my bus bars (which are in the rear of my trunk) and said "What if someone rearends you"? How about if you get hit by another car and that cable gets pinched and shorted out? If its not fused on BOTH ends, you have a fire on your hands instead of some body damage.

I can't comment on performance with messages, I try to keep those clean, otherwise it's just clutter. My Evo came with 2.2 so I don't know how much better the performance is over the 2.1. It is bigger than my Touch Pro 2, but I got used to it pretty quick.

I hear ya, I was actually surprised they had them. Wellington Green Mall sprint store had them instock, the Epic which I guess is newer is shorter on stock there I guess. I should be seeing some 4g service when I start working in North Miami in a few weeks.

I don't even have 4g here yet, but I get 2.6mb per sec downloads over 3g, this thing flies. I connected to my home WIFI and I get 5.6mb on my 6.0 DSL!! I'm told 4g should be here in about 2 months so we will see. Now I just have my learning curve going from WinMo 6.5 to Android 2.2. Overall I'm loving it though. Its slimmer than my Touch Pro 2 with a much larger screen.

I say try it out. Like whats been said, the DVD's will like it.
