Kevin why did you rate it as a 1500 and not a 1600 if the output is more than the model number suggest? I had no idea that it wasnt 1500 until someone tried to enter sotm with one and it put him over the wattage limit.

You dont have any door pin switch at all? Are you sure? just because it doesnt have a light that comes on when you open the door doesnt mean it doesnt have a door pin switch.

You need a new IT department. We have a ton of legacy applications like that, and they ALL work with Win7, you just have to know what you're doing in order to configure the OS properly. ITs also a cost issue. I still run xp at work and I can assure its not a lack of technical resources knowing what they are doing. It would cost a shit ton of money to upgrade the hundreds of thousands of employees to win7. not all legacy apps are created equal as well. my environment still has winnt boxes and w2k out there.

alot of people have a misconception that by lowering their ohm load to .5 they will get the same power increase as if they went from 2 to 1 ohm. It doesnt happen output increases very little and then current draw would go through the roof. for example i ran one 2500d at .5 and it had more draw than 2 of them at 1 ohm Some people are just stupid and buy the wrong coil configs. some dont plan ahead and they have one woofer wired to one ohm and then they buy a second woofer but not a second amp some people have a misconception that impedence rise will save their amp. The your amp will never see that load anyways crowd.
