this is not going to fit. trust me you measured the bottom. thje top narrows to a point thats way less. im not sure how far forward you are going either because you arent getting that deep without going in front of the b pillar. you'll need to build a platform to secure to as well since the gas tank is under the rear seat. you cant remove the rear deck either for extra room. its structural in a cavalier. I know a thing or two about them.

Air force BMT and marine officer candidate school is not evne remotely close. nor is it close to marine corps boot camp. did they give you your coffee mug on the way out or did you have to make sure your cable bill was paid in full

in all honesty though. This is going to be the best period in your life. 99 percent of the time the individuals you see wtih 8 gauge or even larger ran as speaker wire dont even need it. It's been shown to gain a few tenths in competitions. That's why some do it. If you can afford it and feel you need it go ahead. chances are you dont. you are more than fine with 12 or 14 guage wire in a majority of cases.
