    im not a fan of going to the fuse box or a test light to be honest. I prefer the ignition source and its own seperate fuse. As for wwhat colors they are its tough to say and i wont recommend any wires in a truck someone else built.

    12 gauge is bigger than 16 gauge by a good bit..... just because its wiring for subs doesnt mean it needs to be larger either. Its more about power. I'll even go so far as to say those people running 8 guage dont even need it. Or even know what the difference they'd see between a 12 or 14 guage wire and an 8 guage.

    why not just get 12 gauge? they are qs you arent going to be running 10kw through them. Alot of people over due it on the speaker wire for no reason.
