Ok I normally don't take the time out to type this kind of stuff up but here we go. Twigz post had me extremely bothered by the fact that most people dont know what their warranty implies. The Moss-Magnuson Act was what was established to protect the consumer in instances of this. This applies to the 12 volt industry by the fact that you cant be restricted to certain brand for part replacement. For example using an Iraggi alternator instead of an ac delco one. The resulting modification would have to be proven to cause the resulting issue you are seeking warranty work for. Also notice there are several types of warranties. Hopefully this information will help someone understand their rights in a situation like this.
