Let's not forget impedance rise lol. You'll never see anything lower than 2 ohm...if wired correctly. Now if you are wiring all positives to all positives and all negatives to all negatives, then you are running at .5 ohm and therefor, your amp and electrical will not like this! (if I did my math right lol...it is 3 am)..damn the thought of figuring out to wire quad 2 ohm sub to two ohms is hurting my head.. Like this, but for one sub. EDIT: Just saw you're last post..if you are reading total impedance of 1.4, then as stated MANY times before, YOU ARE FINE! Even the one you are calling an ass told you this. Sheesh.

I agree. Most home audio companies never labeled the speakers with their name. Car audio did. Pioneer model numbers fit almost perfect.

Pioneer are the only ones I know with the TS model numbers. Might be an old one or home audio one?

Umm here is part of the prob too. Also, if you burnt a coil after knowing there is a problem and continued to beat the hell out of it with a shitty electrical with a large amp at .5, then this is your fault. You woul be the tard who burnt another one. Especially after knowing you had a prob and every here is saying something is not right.

Beautiful! Love those LEDs. It's what I used for the plexy in my bar in my house. Wish I would have done a reflective decal though. That makes a HUGE difference with color changing LEDs. This was very well thought out man. COngrats on the outcome!

Recommended is 2.2-2. something ported, so you can go 2.2 and ported. Unless you 1.5-1.75 sealed, you aren't gonna gain much space.You can always build it taller?

I love sealed, but then again, I don't compete, and was limited space. If you lived closer, I would show you. They do quite well sealed. I'll try to get a better video later with the HD camera. Honestly, with the space you have, I'd stay ported. You can do two separate boxes, with aero ports. I guess my point is, if you are going to be close to whats recommended for ported, then why not port?

Oh it is deadened. second skin everywhere. I strip the whole car, sludged the floor, sprayed underneath, layer on of damplifier on the roof with the spectrum over it and the same on the walls and doors. lol. I think I had a roof bow go already. Not a choice, sadly. I think I will strip it out, buy a truck or a car of some sort and do with it as I please. All I can say is, the Skar Comps scream! i'd love to see clamp numbers, I highly doubt you're pushing more than 3k rms daily to a pair, DAILY as in you can play a whole song full tilt within tuning, then another song, without stopping to let the coils cool down. I had my pair on a 3.5k at .5, sending them the cleanest signal I could but they were still catching hell not matter what song I played, coils never got stinky because I didn't let them play that long. They are underrated but not underrated to take 2500rms a piece. To the op I wouldn't go more than 900rms daily to each sub. Aren't you kinda saying you're doing the same thing? 3.5k at .5 (not putting imp rise into any of this cause it differs too much per set up) on an amp which does more than 3.5k at 1 ohm, but you're at half...wouldn't this make you closer to 4.5k, which then divided by two isn't too far from 2500 each. Granted that 5k at .5 is gonna be a lot more than 2500 as well as the m3, but yea.

4 15s on a Skar Sk-4500.1 which is rated around 3k at 2 ohm and this is in a fairly small sealed box.

It does ok lol. Vids wont be for a few. Let's just say two sheets of 3/4 inch MDF wasn't enough for a loading wall after only a few minutes of play. Also have the dowels for bracing on the inside.
