Kind of a thread jack, but is it alright to mix the new look batteries with the older ones? Ive heard that a few models ago they rested around 13v and the last set was 12.8v, are the newest ones any different like that?

look at a place fiberglasssite.com for some mat. as for the resin. its usually cheaper to buy it an a local autozone similar store, when you buy it online its not much cheaper and you have to pay additional shipping because its hazardous.

Those are the two major differences in the amps specs. And yes I know they aren't major. But you know what else bothers me about this? The rubi is more aesthetically pleasing. I think it's a better looking amp in general. And plus, you may think 20 watts difference won't matter, but it does. A few extra watts per speaker (within rated, no clipping) is a good thing, who wouldn't want that. Edit: THD Picasso - .03 THD rubi - .015 Again, tiny ass difference but a difference nonetheless you wont here that difference in power, and they way you said it in the first post was the sales guy was saying the Picasso had a smaller THD.

are all you're comparing them on is the minute power difference that you wont notice and that ridiculous frequency range.. which you wont need any thing over around 18k hz anyway. and if its for mid and highs the youll want a lower THD anyway. But if its not what you wanted get a refund. But if you don't wanna buy the rubi on another site for more money and you have nothing else in mind just get the piccasso, but make sure they refund you the price difference.

maybe ill put this to the test when mine comes in. yeah I think pretty much all ipods do that cuz my ipod at max volume hooked up to the head unit aux, makes the head unit distort at 30 out of 35, if I put a CD in it distorts at 34 out of 35, I know i still need to get it tested with the DD-1 though. Its all about signal levels, the jack on your Iphone is a headphone output not a pre-out. There is a larger voltage coming out of it, then would be found on your RCA's. So there is less headroom for your head-deck to amplify the signal, thus the lower volume before clipping. want to understand a little more? Check this out. yea.. I know what clipping is.

nothing to do with the DD1 but if you are using the CD to set it and playing music with an Iphone or Itouch there will be distortion. I saw the guy with the crescendo and btls was playing with an Iphone. if you didnt do it, you should of set the gains with the Iphone playing tones. something about the Iphones, the just put out more signal, my car when Itouch > Zune > CD it terms of what was louder on the same deck volume

Ive got a sundown sax50.4 nice power and some great crossovers. can even do try mode if you don't want a ton of power to your subs.

put your options in a hat and pick that way... or buy whatever is cheapest for you, unless you wanna buy what most expensive for you
