This is why i ask. I recently bought a set of wheels from my boss that looked like severe hell b4 the clean up. They literally looked like it had black mold spores growing all over them in splotchy sections. We used a product called Zep-A-Lume to clean them up to this point. After that it was off to good ole elbow grease with polishing clothes and a tub of Mothers Mag Wheel and aluminum polish paste. After about 4 hours per wheel they now look like this.. Its alot of hard ass work but in the end they come out looking very good. But this process only works if they are polished wheels, not painted.

when you say aluminum silver, are you trying to say they are painted silver or polished aluminum that is just nasty as all hell from neglect?

About the only ones you will find are outer Kansas City. There is one coming up in Olathe @ H&H i believe next month with MIdwest SPL. Usaci has a few here and there at Loud and Clear but the turn out is usually meh.. I'd suggest you check on Midwest Spl's calendar for what shows are coming up this season and check back regularly as people sign up to host shows all through out the year.

I love how everyone picks the word "Birch" out of what was meant to be "Baltic Birch" and just assumes they are the same. The shit you buy at lowes and home depot are not baltic birch or even close. The stuff you can buy at the super stores is full of voids and is generally only 5-9 layers. The good wood that everyone likes to use is 13-15 ply and is what is actually stronger than mdf being its void free and cross directionally laminated. You will pay a price for it however. Generally, cabinet supply companies and good lumber yards are the only places you will find the real deal. Good luck on your searching.

Maybe you need to read the for sale section rules about bitching about peoples pricing. Only the seller can determine the products worth, not some listing on fleabay...
