Yup. Everytime I see this thread reminds me that I need to flush my power steering pump and put some fresh mercon in...

check the valve cover gasket. make sure the exhaust isn't smoking blue/white... run a compression check test drive it

220k miles is nothing. my ford has 225k and runs strong, despite a vacum leak, or a couple, lol.

That'll happen when you use actual power steering fluid in a Ford power steering pump.

Did you use power steering fluid or ATF? EDIT: Get a turkey baster and drain it till it's at optimal level too... Too much or too little oil can lead to problems.

Amp wiring has since been upgraded. Box is 3.6^3' with 36^2" port area tuned to 31hz.

Or just get it repairded.
