why use an inverter? the battery in the laptop will be a DC battery. you would be converting DC to AC then back to DC. get a DC charger for the laptop and clip the cig adapter off. then use those 2 wires and hardwire them in the car.

well if its like the sundowns, one amp is the - and one is the + so you measure with a lead on each amp and not the "-" wires from one amp to another. but you do leave those "-" wires on. when i tuned mine I was told to gain match each amp then strap them together. strapping should just bypass the slave's gain but he insisted it made a small difference lol. but once you strap them together you should have the correct tuning still.

That is the worst analogy i have ever read. The supporting members already get more then non members and they will get more as the forum software becomes more familiar to me and my admin's. back on topic. it wasnt saying something bad about you or the forum... look at the reaction from other people and you can see its practically human nature. i used that as an example because its something you would have been familiar with. psychology is something i know fairly well and I think into things a little more deeply than most people. this just hit me... you give the supporting members some extra stuff. then you give the garage to everyone, in a way its taking something away from supporting members. now people get upset about it even though they have other perks. maybe its the same concept but 1000x worse. we give them a lot but they only focus on what they still need and are not getting or when we try to pull out and let them take over they only see us taking things away from them. now we are the bad guys to them. just a psychology theory but it makes sense to me. and not like that means its justified but I think its fun to find similarities to things we all do in extreme situations.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all BUT, we don't know what it's like to live over there. we don't know what they are going through day to day. their views may be justified. none of us know what its like to live in a place like that (thank god)

dont use a grinder. you will hate it. sparks flying everywhere inside your car. burning you randomly, putting pepper marks on fabric, etc. plus it takes longer. an air saw is pretty damn cheap at a harbor freight. i think mine was $15-20. saws-all will work but they are just bigger and harder to work with in a tight space. it'll definitely get the job done though.

16v causes grass fires. but dont worry too much. we have a guy to put those out.

maybe someone watches for when you are heading down that road and lights a fire cause its funny to see you running around trying to put it out.

x2 voltage regulator is for your alt so you can charge at 16v. in case you did not know that already.

mr. clean magic eraser. sounds weird but it worked to get paint off my dad's truck and didnt take off the truck's paint.
