fuck taking it to apple. they will just give you a discount on a new one. and you need an appointment to even talk to a tech. if its shutting off because it wont hold a charge you can just replace the battery. its not all that hard. a friend of mine gave me his old ipod with a dead battery and i changed it out. think it was only 15-20 bucks. if you dont want to try you can send it to me, order parts and have them sent to me and ill do it for you and ship it back once its working. try a google search on the symptoms and see if there is a common solution.

show me pics of what it looks like now. you could do a pod on the floor behind the seats. some 6.5"s can be enough, 8" if you want to get crazy. 6x9"s could be used, might be harder to find a nice midbass set though.

is this what it looks like? actually thats been posted on this site lol. is that yours? maybe you can draw out what and where you want to put speakers on MSpaint. i would set up a good front stage and do a good midbass setup in the back. then maybe some 3" full range speakers in the back corners. that should give some nice ambience and keep left and right channel separation.

ok i just looked up your car, its not what i imagined. where do you plan on putting these speakers? rear deck? behind the seats? on the side behind the seats?

so you want to be that guy with ear splitting highs? it just doesnt sound like this would be enjoyable to sit in. and I'm really not trying to talk shit. I'm just being honest and hopefully helping you build a better system. tweeters add "air" to the music. they really dont play any voice and with a lot of them you just get this annoying "TSSS" like a needle in your ear. with so many speakers in the rear everything will be pulled back. it wont be "all around you" it'll be like sitting on the edge of the stage facing the audience, with the band behind you. sound backwards? it should lol. mids and high are very directional. it's not the same as having subs in the back. now IF you really wanted to just add tweeters you need a crossover for them. otherwise they will still be sent a full range signal and you will hear them pop constantly until they die.

what is it you are trying to hear? voice, strings, symbols?

people need to stop saying this. you are clearly not going for SQ or know what SQ is. you are just going for something that you think sounds good. true SQ is very far from what you are doing. i wouldnt add any tweeters in the back.

what you are most likely "missing" is years of experience. obviously not just anyone can pick up and SA-12 and do this. but the 150.4 is outlaw style and its doing 148 legal. just dont compare the outlaw score with other legal scores.

hmm... system shakes the car so it needs deanener... but the system cant work without wire... but with wire, the system plays and you need deadener... both.

hmm... nice. i stopped using mine on my bank because i could hear a battery start to boil. then i read that it force charges for 1 hour after it reaches 100%. looks like ill be ordering this one. thanks ive wanted one to hardwire into my car. just plug it in and forget it.

ive been trying to find a nice one too. AMI does that was work manually and automatically? or one or the other? i dont like that my auto charger cant just be set to float charge.

these would be a lot of fun to play with still. upgrade some components, design your own cooling, see if you can get more power, better sound, etc. crazy that it does more power at 8ohm than 6ohm but the most power at 4ohm lol. and more efficient at 4ohm.

i like it... except one part. 10-30v with a max output of 100w rms. so itll only do 100w at 30v? and 10%thd at 4ohm 100w. at least this is what i saw for the 1st one.
