depends on your setup. with a processor it means you are going active. toss out the passive crossover and get each speaker on its own channel. remember an EQ is to help with SQ. not to just boost, boost, boost. its doing the exact same thing as the "bass boost" on the amp so be smart about it. "front" "rear" and "sub" outputs on the EQS are independent.

the 3sixty is a processor not just an EQ. itll have crossover points. it will do a lot to improve SQ once you learn how to use it properly. your mids should NOT be playing down to 50hz. as an example, the subs play 80hz and below, mids play 80hz-3500hz, tweeters play 3500hz and up. now if you adjust 50hz it only affects the subs. if different speakers are playing the same frequencies, apart from those in the slope, your just doing it wrong.

depends on what kind of resin you used and how much hardener you added. if its that cold in the shop you really should use a heat lamp.

battery power is battery power, keep the battery up front. upgrade it if you can.

the comps are good to keep up with bass but they are not the best sounding. if this is really an upgrade for you, im sure you will be happy with them. the amps are zenon boards and proven to be very reliable. same stuff sundown used for years.

yes that is perfectly fine to do. might want to charge it before putting it in if its been sitting a while.

ok... well there is a min where you damage amps and there is a min where you damage batteries. batteries will lose capacity if you keep draining them. if you go to 11v you are starting to hurt battery life. maybe for your situation it would be better to invest in a generator to keep the car charged without wasting so much gas.

What would the resting voltage be? I hear it's 12.6 for a wet cell and higher for an agm. If I have these 2 together than would that changs. I want to buy a volt meter when I get my new battery so I wan't to be able to tell what's up with my voltage. Pardon my ignorance. check the voltage after the car sits over night. that should be your resting voltage.

Unless you have a JBL GTi 6000 This is true 1 amp that does more power at 4 ohms than 2 dont mmats amps do the same thing? less power at a lower ohm load. and you said your SD did the same thing right? c-fizzy - its all about what the amp is designed to do. dropping resistance lowers efficiency and can lower it enough to hurt output. all depends on the amp.

the subs are the load for the amp. lower resistance of the subs (from 4ohm to 2ohm) and the amp produces more power. teamHT - agreed.

again, you said "sound quality". the image dynamics sound a lot better than the type R's. i would never put the R comps in a SQ catagory. they would be in my "well... they dont sound horrible" catagory lol. if thats what you want or all you can afford, go for it. but it wont be anything tward an SQ setup. so again, i recommend spending the extra money on the front stage and just leaving the back speakers alone or getting some cheap coaxials. i really believe that will make you the happiest, but its all up to you.

ive had problems with ground loops for a while. recently, i changed all my RCAs and it went away. but the funny thing is, i found out it was coming from one 6' rca going from my MS-8 to the rear speaker amp. but the noise was in all the speakers.

a brace will mess up airflow a little. the thicker it is, the worse it will be. however, taking away flex in the box should gain. so maybe you lose .3 from a brace but you gain 1db from less flex. it will be worth it. good luck making the joint strong though. see if you can use a jack or something to bend the box slightly. then you can slide the dowel in with some wood glue on it, then use your nails. there is going to be a lot of force on that dowel.
