  1. For the leaf springs or the LED thing? The leaf spring thing I read in a HOT ROD article about air ride, I could dig it out if you would like.
  2. Sorry man I totally posted in the wrong thread. Too many tabs up FTL.
  3. Killin me here. O/T but wasn't there a thread about some sort of LED VU-meter-type-thing they were working on too? I coulda swore I saw something like that but can't find it to save me life...
  4. Wrong thread. You do realize that you could buy or fabricate a setup to get rid of the leaves though right? Or I've heard of removing all but one or two leaves to act as locators then putting the bag in.
  5. I have random tastes I know. I get sporadic cravings for different things. Right now I'm kinda in this soft trance vibe. Looking at a lot of Above & Beyond stuff and liking it. Kyau vs. Albert, some Ferry Corsten stuff. Lighter stuff, more on the calm side, not this synth-crazy clubbing-all-night lyric-heavy stuff. Anyone else into this kinda stuff got some suggestions on stuff to check out?
  6.    pwnt.
  7. You hit it on the head! The two songs fade into each other normally. For whatever reason when I ripped the CD ITunes put a 3-second gap between the 2 and I couldn't get it out with them two separate tracks so I just mashed them together. Thanks man!
  8. I'm trying to put two songs end-to-end in Audacity, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone done this before?
  9. AC comp clutch or a bearing in the compressor.
  10. Just get one. Less for insurance and less bitching from the neighbors.
  11. If you need a bixenon kit don't buy from them. Their bixenon bulbs are garbage. The bulbs flop around in the sockets and the high beams don't do crap.
  12. 5x114.3 WILL work on Grand Prix's. A lot of 97-08 guys use wheels meant for Mustangs as they have better selection than our oddball bolt pattern.
  13. What kinda car? It's probably either soft plastic or vinyl. Once it cracks your only choice is usually to R&R. ...Of course you could just glass it up and paint it
  14. I think this has changed now with the mandatory insurance. You are supposed to call your insurance provider and inform them of the purchased car before you drive it home. That's what my brother had to do when he got his Jetta last summer. Bill of sale works for the plates but they WILL give you an insurance ticket if you don't call the company.
  15. I'm willing to bet that either it still works and they're just FOS, or that they fucked it up either through malice or gross incompetence.
  16. Oh man. GET YOUR CAR BACK FROM THAT CROOKED-ASS SHOP ASAP!!! They are trying to fuck you eight ways to Sunday with no lube or even a goddamned reach-around. If you had the subs wired for a four-ohm load there is NO WAY they can wire it to 2 ohms. They're just taking you for a ride to try and get you to buy their shit.
  17. DDM 55w 6000k lows and 35w 3000k fogs through yellow lights (my new setup) DDM 55w 10000k lows and halogen fogs through yellow lights (old setup)
  18. Your best bet may be to rent one of those carpet cleaners like a Rug Doctor or something similar, pull the carpet and seats, and use it on them.
  19. Not quite. A tensioner is also an idler, but not all idlers are tensioners. I seem to recall seeing idlers on some small block chevy's that were not idlers.
  20. IIRC if you order from the retrofit source the projectors already have clear lenses. I've heard good results from both the FX-R's and the Morimoto Minis (in both the H1 and D2S flavors.) They are smaller projectors that will fit just about anywhere.
  21. I've also heard that you can use a hi-lift jack to break beads. Line the jack up, hook it to the truck, and lift it til the bead goes. Your way looks more fun though.
