I must say I have never been sued for anything that held merit. I did have a judge laugh in the face of the person who sued me, though...she sued for a barking dog she THOUGHT was mine. sued for $500,000 for emotional damages....the judge charged her with wasting the court's time...$2500 fine.

She will most likely come in 10-15% cheaper for you so you can get it done right, and they'll do the work better than factory. do you have a DMM? usually when the amp goes directly into protect like that it's one of two things...bad amp, or low impedance/dead short. Disconnect the speakers and RCA. If it still protects it's a bad amp. This is why I don't like online sales.
