  1. Barely stronger. You need to add fiberglass layers to it if you want stronger. It actually makes it yield less but crack easier. The the ultimate strength isn't lowered though if you understand what I mean. However, it makes things very smooth inside but you will have to sand it still. You should gain unless got the inside to be smooth as hell already.
  2. its tuned to 39hz and the -3dB point on the lower end is 32hz. -3dB because that's when you will start to hear a noticeable change, for normal ears. Basically. It depends on a lot of things if the sub will bottom out at 32hz or not. You should have a subsonic filter and use it according to the loading and power you have.
  3. get a dmm. anyone in car audio should have a dmm.
  4. x2 on your friend not knowing anywhere close to how much you actually do and a trunk is a shit ton harder to get a 150 out of.
  5. DC Power makes the magic power and until other companies make the same magic power, I'd go nowhere else.
  6. Hit up Shizzzon. He has a TC and had the level 4s. He did designs on SSA but he's on here too.
  7. spiral upcut is a great bit. And the jasper jig is nice too. I like it. I don't understand why people break them so easily. I tend to take care of my things. It hasn't showed a sign of wear yet. but you can make your own. I had to make my own for a 2nd baffle flush mount on an 18" sub.
  8. Go to any auto parts store. there's a goo remover stuff you can get.
  9. Not necessarily. My 18" AA avalanche in 10+ cubes tuned to 20hz needs no subsonic filter on 800 watts. Hell, it is barely at xmax full tilt with slight clipping. I built a box recently for a 18" Fi BTL in 8+ cubes tuned to 33hz on an AQ 2200 and the subsonic filter is at around 20hz. It was able to play a 20hz tone at full tilt with slight clipping and it was within xmech. Also, remember that filters are sloped cutoffs and not just a straight drop off. That's why it may be slightly louder at, say 35hz, when you turned the subsonic down, from say 25hz to 20hz.
  10. Get the AP line. Best money per performance you can buy. And I keep forgetting to get someone with an audiopipe amp to come over so I can oscope it and see the "dirty" power these others all cry about. Its funny that some people don't even own a oscope and say that the audiopipe amps are dirty and they don't think their high dollar amps are running dirty either. I guess people have oscopes planted in their brains.
  11. I know what it takes because I had a little pep in my step a while back too.
  12. You kidding, right? That sounds retarded.
  13. slim2fattycake Kentucky 40214/Louisville SPL-Lab meter single sensor with LCD handheld so no laptop required. And I have an Oscope as well. I'll meter and oscope for like $20 if you meet me.
  14. yeah but those are from the stomach not from the vaginas like what they were doing. They made higher pitch noises then when bitches slap fight. And their kip ups were garbage, having to roll back then flip up. This was actually more annoying then funny.
  15. O, well there's 45 corners but not in the port and that's it. No other bracing. Not much else to show. The video shows the box in the vehicle...
  16. Just wanted to share this because the owner was extremely happy with it. A short video made by the owner but camera didn't pick up the flex that he had. the seats were going crazy and he had wiper flex too. His ashtray was being pulled out by the bass. Its pretty musical to me. 4.75 cubes tuned to 34hz with kerf port. Amp is a Soundstream TX1 2000D with a deka 9a31 with stock alt. He is saving up to go 3k and a DC Power HP alt. He didn't specify a color for the port so I kept it bare. He said he will paint it red to match the red FI logo on the BTL. Also, the owner switched from two 15" AQ SDC2.5s in a tiny weak box tuned high to a single 15" BTL with my box. He definitely noticed an increase in output. He demoed for a buddy and the buddy had to bail because it was too loud lol. We got some meter time for this setup. Loudest I think was 145.6dB at 36hz on passenger windshield. Didn't do any at headrest and he did basically the same on the driver windshield. All this is sealed up. 140s at 30hz and I think his peak may be 43-45hz because he did 145s around there too. It sounds awesome. We only had music, no test tones.
