  1. merry christmas, and is the 3rd one from the left my present?
  2. check out fuel offroad wheels, and bmf wheels much better than xd's.
  3. got my demo today, holy fuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!sucked the air right out of me. that pink floyd song just sneaks up on you. starts off all relaxed, then a little bass, then wham, takes your breath away, cant see straight, cant swallow, etc...etc..
  4. thanks, i had my boa for 12 years.he was an odd snake.he loved having under his lower jaw rubbed.if you stopped he would start hissing at you. as for the ball, he's a good snake.kind of scketchy if you try to touch his head.
  5. i currentley have a 4.5' ball python. and this was my 7' columbian boa, had to have him put to sleep about 6 months ago,the vet said he was around 18 years old. he just stopped eating, and started loosing weight pretty fast.
  6. on my last box i used 220 grit to sand, then bondoed the seams, then kilz 2 primer, and had some interior house paint matched to my interior.
  7. how wide can you go? if you do a port 2.5x12.5x28, that should put you around 36 htz according to the torres calc.
  8. i would go with 2 cu ft with around 32 sq" of port.
  9. check the parking brake shoes, and make sure the parking brake is adjusted right. sounds like its dragging.
  10. like its been said, sell it and buy a 4x4. im not saying you dont have the skills to do it,but its going to cost you alot more than you think. you're going to need a transfer case, and if you did convert it you're going to want to put a solid front axle in,instead of the ifs front suspension. my 98 was a 4x4 to start with, but i did a solid axle swap to handle the bigger tires,i also swapped out the the weak ass rear 10 bolt for a 14 bolt rear. with the axles front and rear, new brakes, gears, new bearings, seals, flat top knuckles, machine work, cross over steering, brackets, leaf springs, all the little misc. crap, wheels and tires im in it around $6500.00, i still need to get a front shaft built. which will be another $400.00
  11. as for poisons, depends what you're using.the stuff we use usually kills within 1-5 days an is pretty safe.the average dog or cat would have to eat 10-15% of their body weight to make them sick. as for pets, by law we have to have the poison in a tamper resistant bait station, where kids and pets cant get into it.here you cant by decon in stores anymore because people who use it put in areas where kids and pets have access to it and its basically an open cardboard box.as for traps, the old fashion wooden snap traps work the best.for baiting them, i use peanut butter.i also put it on the bottom side of the trigger, because i have seen mice and rats pick the peanut butter clean without triggering the traps.
  12. the stuff i use for work is called excluder, it has metal shards in it that splinter off in their face when they come in contact with it. but the most aggressive steal wool will do the same thing.
  13. the hard part is figuring out how they are getting in. apartment complex will be tough to find the entry points.but if it came from under the sink.it most likely came up the water lines through the floor.what you can do is stuff some very agressive steal wool in around the pipes to keep them from getting in your apartment.as for everyone else with houses. some areas to check for entry points would be to check your ac unit line going through the wall, gas lines going through the wall, and also check your exterior vents for holes or where the cable company will cut into the vents to run cable lines. i see that alot here. for sealing off the holes, use a very aggressive steal wool, or silicone. dont use foam, it will keep them out for awile, but eventually they will chew through it. i do pest control for a living.
  14. Act like youre in in the ghetto and park on sidewalks instead...there would be plenty of space in the parking lot lml there is plenty of parking on the street.parking really isnt an issue. its the other business's that share the property and are still trying to operate.
  15. how much space do you have between the seats? i can draw something up.
  16. x2, i'm going to have to swing by.i live less than 5 min. from the shop. i still havent got the demo of robs 8's.maybe a demo of the hoe if steve brings it. I know right i wonder if they have room for us? i'll probably call first to see if its ok.i know they arent going want everyone in the area showing up. you have other buisness's around there that are open till 5 or later. dont want to fill up the parking lot.

  18. not sure what truck you have. but there are two bolts in a crossmember where the torsion bars attach. you can adjust them in to help stiffen the ride, but doing so will lift the front of the truck. now dont go crazy adjusting them in, you dont want to have the front riding on the bump stops. the ride will suck if you crank to high. also take measurements of each side(front fender to ground)and adjust each one till you get the same measurement side to side.each bolt will be adjusted in different amounts.
  19. hopefully i'll be able to check it out friday after work or saturday. i'm wondering numbers aswell.
  20. you going with xl's?looks good, i cant wait for a demo.i see you got the belt issue figured out.
  21. hell ya, cant wait to hear it, eventually i'll have 4 8's on a 2k in a center console in my chevy.
  22. you should be fine. check out this thread from a chevy site i'm on. it should give you some ideas and info. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/general-discussion/offroad/offroad-2wd/445722-show-off-your-2wd-ride-here.html
