  2. i got a chance to hear it a couple weeks back, and damn it pounds pretty good.thanks for the demo.
  3. gmfs has a decent vendor layout. http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/ as for getting headlights and other lights or lenses from ebay, some are good. but other cheaper brands fit like crap and arent sealed very well allowing moisture to get in.
  4. i saw you eyeing my meat the other day. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif i'm down for a bbq, just let me know what to bring and the new shop is coming together nicely.
  5. the displacement of a lvl 4 12 is .16, and i have my lvl 4 12 in a 2 cu ft tuned to 35 htz center console and it pounds pretty good.
  6. its a tough one, i love steak. but it would have to be a large salami and jalepeno(sp) pizza with steak fries and 30 piece hot wing.
  7. its getting fed by a rf t1k and it gets decently loud and it plays metal/rock pretty good and can get the lows. i think i have some old vids of my first attempt in the dc videos pinned up top.
  8. i wish it was every week, i wouldnt be married any more if that was the case. she's giving me shit about wanting to build the new one i drew up you saw. heres some older pics of what is in my 98. one lvl 4 12, console is 2 cu ft tuned to 35htz
  9. have you checked the pressure with a gauge? with the key on you should see 60-66 psi, truck on at idle should be in the high 50's and when you blip the throttle above 60 psi.
  10. you'll need a pickle fork or aka tie rod seperator to break it free from the knuckle. if it has a jam nut or sleave with a bolt(s) loosen them up, but before you try removing the tie rod measure or count the amount of threads showing on the rod itself. you'll need to know that for when you put the new one's on,so you can get it close within speck. you'll need an alignment afterwards.
  11. here's a thread from a little while back.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=35887 i wouldn't say i'm part of team dc, but more of a groupie.
  12. you can always do what steve did with his. he cut off a rib to get his to work. i found a 6 rib that 79.00" http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku heres a 79.75 but its 8 rib http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294742251 and a 79.87 6 rib http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294749022 like i said you'll have to cut off a rib or 3 to work, but just make sure you have the right size before you do.
  13. napa would probably be your best bet. i was looking at summit racing and the next size belt up is 81.75 for a goodyear. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294791882
  14. heres what i currently have in my 98 chevy. its 2 cubes tuned to 35htz and houses a dc audio lvl 4 12.
  15. ouch... that sucks, the 305 will hold you over till you the 350 rebuilt. just some ideas for when you rebuild the 350. i'd look at some 350 vortec heads, a mild cam, and the edelbrock vortec intake and upgrade your injectors and some computer tuning and you'll have a strong running small block that makes good power and torque and gets decent fuel mileage. good luck with your build.
  16. nice looking truck, but why ditch the 350 for a 305? you'll have more power potential out of a 350 than the 305.
  17. its an offroaders trick if they split their fuel tank on the trail, they use the soap to seal it up so they can keep going.
  18. i'd check the filler hose for the leak, if its the tank itself(pinhole or crack) you can rub a bar of soap over the area and it'll stop it for a little bit, otherwise you'll have to replace the tank,or have a shop weld up the area.
  19. what size are you? i'm pretty sure Rusty can get one in your size.
  20. those turned out pretty good, Rusty showed me those yesterday.
