  1. I'm in Metairie. Last I heard Cory wasnt spending much time at the shop so I don't know what he could/would be able to do but I'm sure there would be someone at the shop that could meter it for you if they do have a meter.
  2. If my truck was together I'd meter it for you but I've got shit scattered everywhere. lol You can try Prestige Customs & Autosound on Causeway I think they had a meter at one time. If you don't mind a little drive there was a place I found >here< that charges $20 for 3 runs on the meter but their site isn't working for me so I don't know if they are still open.
  3. Even after you get it evacuated be careful when you take the lines off because usually it will build some pressure back up. Especially if your car has an expansion valve as opposed to an orifice tube. It's usually not a lot of pressure but it tends to blow oil everywhere if you don't remove them slowly.
  4. I think people were thrown off because you said the guts were different and they assumed that different meant incompatible. Now they know.
  5. How do you guys arrive at these numbers? Generally, people suggest running 100aH for every 1000W but this chart seems to be very different. Take my setup for example. I have 4X D2700s and 2X D3400s (1 as primary) which should put me at about 5,500W but if I use your chart it says that I'm good for 24,500W. I honestly don't even think I could burp 24KWs without the amps going into protect in a very short time b/c of low voltage. I'm not bashing, just trying to understand.
  6. That's an awesome score. Where was this comp? I didn't know there were any going on.
  7. Yeah, that amp won't have any problems at .5Ω. Here's a link to some tests that were done on it a long time ago. It did 1890W at 12.8V at .5Ω. Very impressive.
  8. Did you try sending an email to Jacob at [email protected]? You could link him to this thread so he can see the pics or just attach them to the email.
  9. Have you checked their site? They have all of the specs listed. Check -> here. If you still aren't sure about the specs check the faq section and it gives you and explaination of what they mean.
  10. Holy.. Is that what I have to look forward to? I can't wait. That's awesome work DJ!
  11. What type of information? I noticed the op only has 1 3500D and he's on the team. So, does it matter how much of your equipment is Sundown? FYI I have 2 3500s and 4 Nightshade 15s. Are there any other perks besides discounts on equipment?
  12. ^ThisThat amp is rated at 600W @ 2ohms and I'm sure that is at 12.8V like all the rest of the Sundown amps, so it wouldn't be necessary to run .5 to get 600-700 watts.
  13. I got some 1/0 wire from Eric. Shipping was a little slow but that's to be expected at Christmas time. Wire was exactly as described and he even threw in a few extra fuses just because that's the kinda guy he is. Thanks!
  14. That's the reason I went with Sundown, geat customer support. I just wish I was on the team.
  15. Those are stock Traxxas engines that come on their RTRs. X2 brushless FTW The Summit is nice. It is basically an E-Revo with soft suspension.
  16. Sweet. I have a D5000 sitting around right now. I was thinking of selling it but then decided to keep it around as a spare. That's a very nice setup!
  17. What size are your 4 batts in the back and what are you running up front?
  18. No, I don't think damplifier would help. I think you would need to replace the gaskets that are causing the leak. I suppose you could clean the old gaskets off and use silicone if you have some. It might even work better than replacing the gaskets.
  19. Besides the spoiler, check around the tail light gaskets also. That's where most of the trunk leaks I have seen have been from.
  20. I don't believe this for a minute, if you want to PROVE they handle 4000w you need to ship 4 of them to me ASAP!
  21. I think I have an old one from my 1st car. That was before they made you return them to the dmv when you no longer had insurance on the vehicle. I'll check later and let you know.
  22. I like the vid where the guy says "Beater than beat then beater then beat beat beat". I know it's not a youtube comment but it still hysterical. It's like your woofers messed with his brain and he's incoherent. lol
