no it will not effect the life of the driver at all nor sound quality -
its a bit on the small side but the subs should be fine you may not see all the output though

i would say 1100-1200 clean power shouldnt be an issue -

rusty uses a 3.5k in his truck on 4 of them it is possible but a tad risky -
2 lvl6 18s walled on 10k input!

they perform better in smaller enclosures, after lots of various testing we found higher numbers and for them to be a bit more forgiven in 5.5, but just like any driver it is power dependant so that recomendation is for rated power
