why do some amps draw more current than others? say you have to amps that both are rated at 1000rms why would one draw more current than the other?

you have to wait until your box is built to figure out box rise. there is no way to stop it generally the bigger your box the less rise you will have but im sure there are circumstances when that isnt true.

you can pay ray to design a box for you its only 15$ that way you know youll be happy with the out come

this amps is a absolute beast,im pushing over 195 decibels in my red 09 hyundai accent.im the loudest in wc1 class and in canada

alright that makes sense. so for this loading wall when you say behind the sub do you mean behind the motor? how do i determine which side is behind the sub? also how do you determine what is too close to the internal port? how do you know if one of the subs is unloading will it be moving more than the other? when designing a box is there any key give aways to determine if there will be any unloading issues? sorry for all the questions just trying to expand my understanding of enclosure designs

so do you think the lower tuning of your box is the reason youur having unloading issues?

so if you have a box built for say two twelves in a common chamber and you do a single port to one side will the sub closer to the port act different than the one further away??

i ran a new ground for the head unit. also pulled the head unit out and ran new speaker wire straight from it to the tweeter

i have one of the new d towers i havent clamped it yet but it does its job i personally love this amp and plan on getting another

the head unit is a soundstream 7022vir the tweeters are the soundstream tsw.4 with nothing playing i get static through my tweeters there wired directly to the head unit so im assuming the head unit is the problem i just dont know what to do to fix the problem

yes the strand count is how many individual pieces of wire there are
