Evanescence has some songs with some really weird bass...That kidna fluctuating -50hz bass? yeah lol. Probably not your guys cup a' tea though.

I have found it best to leave my HPF at 125hz, eq to powerful, bass boost to 0, loudness to high....and then I just adjust my bass knob accordingly. With those settings I have found I can easily go from slamming to SQ with the bass knob alone... But I have heard the AP1500 does what it says...I will be using one for my next setup...unless I get a AP3000...

I think the level 4/5 should devour an AP1500....my vote would be amp messed up.

I know that you can get an RF amp for cheaper than $850...I was talking about the power amps, premium top of the line. Yet still, why pay 400 bucks for a 1k watt amp, when you can get a 3k audiopipe one for 100 bucks cheaper? and why pay 485 bucks for 1500 watts when you could get an AQ 2200 for $389? many, many, many, many, many, MANY, cheaper..and in some cases more powerful alternatives to RF. Edit: fix your first link.

Was just telling him to forget RF, if he wants to buy new anyway. OP, does your car have any electrical upgrades, and how much trunk space/area for subs, do you have?

First off, this guy obviously wants some beat to be spending 1 grand. Anyone who has answered rockford fosgate is out they damn mind. He could buy a 1k watt amp, and then have, $150 left for wiring, box, sub???? Rockford amps are for people who have basically no budget on their system and want a premium top of the line amp. audiopipe makes a 3k watt amp for $300....won't have all the fancy lights and buttons and other features, but it will crank out more power than a $850 rockford amp. audioque is also a good budget brand for amps. As far as subs, every one loves DC, they make cheap, powerful, quality subs.... If I was you, I would get two DC level 4 18's....then get the audipipe 3k watt amp. You could get all that plus wiring for your price range. Don't know how much space you have, or if you have upgraded electrical yet, so I can't really be sure if that would work for you though.

I like Crutchfield for buying head units cause they will include dash kits for free and stuff. As well as nice install sheets, and tell you what wiring harnesses you need. Subs though, I was blinded by them for my first setup and spent 1.2k for so much less beat than I coulda gotten. Thank God I was able to send it back, 30 day money back guarantee no questions asked.

I have both my amps grounded to the same location. No problems.... had my capacitor and amp grounded to same location before....no problems. First setup was 1k watts 2nd is 500 or so. Not quite sure about batteries, I don't see why it wouldn't work though.

1. Mustang GT 2. Solstice GXP 3. F150 Crew cab 4. Get a job, get 5 grand more....then buy a Shelby GT350..or a Lotus Elise. Everything I listed would of course be used. (F150 because I like the 06 or so models)

Yeah, its made by a company called metal storm, they make some really cool stuff, with really interesting technology...They have a mortar that goes 6k rounds per minute but I can't find the video.
