  1. hardware store, flexible silicone. clear or white, put a tad on the back side, call it a day. i've done that to a few subs and it'll last just as long as the sub. costs just a few dollars
  2. it'll play just fine. i hope that gasket maker is flexible tho. never heard of or used it before and too lazy to google it right now
  3. if that's your mindset...then don't get a smart phone lol. they're addicting if you're open to the thought of them. i know some people that are anti-smartphone. for me, my phone is for: games music browsing youtube gps texting sending pictures taking pictures taking videos editing pictures alarm clock flashlight shazam netflix occasional translator then very lastly...making phone calls (i hate talking on the phone)
  4. i hate you OP...i can't stop listening to this song now lol. and CVX, that's not the one i was thinking, but still funny too haha. this is the one i was thinkin strut that ass! strut that ass!!
  5. yeah that's the video we were talking about, the bed intruder. they 'songify' a lot of goofy videos. they did another good one i think but i can't remember the name of it atm.
  6. rofl yeah he definitely was. you can run and tell that run and tell run and tell that home boy home home home boy hahahahaha ok but i watched the original video in the OP then listened to the song some more...yeah...it just got a little better lol.
  7. haha some goofy ass people on this earth. the people who make these videos are awesome. they make em almost seem like real songs haha. this was good, but the charlie sheen one was catchier imo tho. or the 'hide yo kids hide yo wife'
  8. he says same box, so i'm assuming it's sideways with the square hole blocked off and a new circle cut out in the side.
  9. it'll play in a better bandwidth that daily music generally plays at
  10. *generally* speaking, if you cut the resistance in half, you double the power. that's why you'll see ratings like 1000 @ 1 ohm, 500 @ 2 ohms, 250 @ 4 ohms. so with that said, your 2400 @ 1 ohm should be 4800 @ .5 ohms. but sorry...amps just don't work like that. it's hard telling how much power you'll actually gain
  11. the box is a bigger variable in output than the equipment. if you're getting bad sound, first thing i'd look at is the box. bad equipment can sound so much better than good equipment if put in the right box compared to good equipment in a bad box. i also agree on the tuning. mid 30's is better for daily listening
  12. what makes you think you'll gain 900 watts? you'll gain more heat to the amp and current draw than power most likely imo
  13. voltage drop can play a role also, depending how severe it is. i think the low impedance would affect the amp before it would affect the sub. more heat put onto the components inside
  14. no, it's ~100 sq inches per, depending on what radius you use to measure (5.5, 5.75, 6, etc)
  15. the lack of roof flex does not mean the amp has more potential, just fyi
  16. you'll be spending a lot more going to a shop than getting a design from somebody here
  17. they had cheater amps back in the day that did exactly that. rated SUPER low to keep you in a low class but put out lots n lots more power
  18. jimmy buffett concert last night. started drinking around 10 in the morning. rode a party bus there. never made it to the concert, was never the intention lol. crazy crazy day. literally, my whole body aches. sprained/twisted my ankle from falling off a fence, hurt my wrist, got a nice sunburn, cuts and bruises all over myself, missing some earrings, lost a shirt, shoes are soaked from the jello pool, part bus left without me, and i got a nice $115 fine lol. good times good times. except i don't like using these crutches
  19. i remember seeing some other builds of yours. can't forget that chromed amp. i like that your builds look so seamless. very nice indeed
  20. yeah leave phase at 0, unless they're inverted and wires are still wired normally. i set my subsonic at around 5 hz below tuning. LPF i believe is usually around 8 0 hz? been so long since i've done any amp settings lol
