  2. i am kinda wondering this myself. i've heard so many mixed opinons on it that i'm not sure on one or another. i also read that lower batteries will NO drain out higher ones. so yeah...i'm curious too because i have 3 wal mart batteries i wanna run with my powermaster battery until i can get more powermasters. if i have the room that is.
  3. jealous...that's what i am i'm chillin over here with my 19" widescreen monitor. but i'm ok with it for now

  5. nice congrats! that's quite...loud to say the least
  6. what kind of processor in your desktop? and how much ram?
  7. x2. i dno if i've owned an amp as long as i've owned these. always switch em out. but i plan on keeping these guys a while longer still
  8. ha so NOT true. what makes the 15 get louder and deeper? what if i tune the box to 55 hz and the 10's to 30 hz? my 8's get down and dirty just like any other size driver 10's would be fine imo if that's what you're looking into. my friend has a pair and he's tickled to death with em. i wouldnt run different brands either. unless maybe they were on different amps in different boxes. then it'd be like 2 separate systems. but i still wouldnt just for aesthetics
  9. i've been clean now for a couple weeks...but i feel as tho i may relapse here soon. tomorrow actually...
  10. hahahah i love it. hell yeah...he's in cincinnati too. i may just need to take that thing for a spin
  11. i want this program he's talkin about
  12. why not just set one outside and run a wire to it to see if it does? then put this whole topic to rest
  13. if he takes the back seats out...he'll be fine
  14. check into soundstream. i put a couple 10 T4's in my friends celica and they sound very good. first time messing around with the brand and we're both not let down. xstream 12's are 300 watts RMS http://www.soundstream.com/subwoofers-xstream.htm can be had for a very nice price as well EDIT: explorer sports FTFW!!
  15. now...just to find some 32 gig sticks of ram
  16. x2 i've seen videos where they have the whole PC submerged in some kind of oil or somethin. non conductive and it cools it very well 128??? i have 32 and 64 bit yay
  17. wasnt meant to post as a combo, meant to just post as a couple parts individually
  18. EDIT: not as a combo...just items to look at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115034 BIG front side bus, 12MB cache, and DDR3 ftw! i believe the xeons are crazy chips too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131292 how about 3 way SLI?
  19. i may try water cooling again down the line, but i wont buy a kit this time. i'll part it together. it did look damn good all lit up also, you should check into far cry 2. it's made by crytek too. so i'm betting it's gonna look DAMN good. kind of the feel of crysis but a much different setting
  20. if your OS recognizes it, no it's not a waste. vista basic i think recognizes 2 gigs? i have ultimate and i have 4 gigs on mine. i wouldnt think of going less. especially with games nowadays. vista itself takes up a lot of ram to function itself also. water cooling is neat, but i had a bad experience when i did mine even tho i listened to everyone else and did what i should do, and didnt do what i shouldnt do, so i'm going to stick with good ol' fans from now on. steve...you see the crysis expansion? i think it's out now...or going to be very soon. supposed to be a smoother engine to run better on more mild machines...which just means it'll run THAT much better on beefy ones
  21. why bump? it looks like 7 people with at least 1 good transaction. if a store has a huge feedback and good positive rating, i would feel comfortable buying from them
  22. no pity for the dipshit
  23. instead of the carbide tips, i'd get an upcut bit. they seem to go through wood much easier, and in my cases, last a LOT longer
