  2. i have a room downstairs. no windows. used to have one, but got walled over cuz the deck got put over it. and no closet. but i love it!
  3. it's most likely the same as far as hardware goes. but you're right on it not being as portable since there's a card instead of a USB that can easily be put into one computer to another. unless there are different software versions of TL or something. not too familiar with the software itself
  4. wow i always thought auto loc would be good. never had their products before tho
  5. yeah that'd work fine. i hear the more square the port, the better. prevents the 'pinching' of the air through the port. and same chamber doesnt hurt. that's how lots of people here including myself have their setups. only thing is, say you have 12 cubes of air, 3 for each sub, and one stops working, that's gonna divide the total airspace to the working subs, giving them 4 cubes of air. but i like common chambers
  6. damn that is sexy. i like that a lot
  7. hahahah yeah just in time too. all good tho...started to get annoying lately lol i like that idea to be honest. bet she's gonna wanna J.O.D.D. after that if ya nawmeeeen!?
  8. they sound 'sharper' i believe, but the output isnt as high as a ported. hell...try it out. that's the part of car audio that's all fun. tuning, tuning, and more tuning
  9. some people like sealed better. but i like the fine tuning you can do with ported. plus output is ftw in my book
  10. why you wantin to go against ported? space issues for the 4 instead of the 3?
  11. i broke up with my gf yesterday so i'm chillin in class atm
  12. you don't know how many pic whores are on this site by now?! pics plz
  13. i used fishing line on my explorer. shift back and forth with it and just saw through it. then clean up the extra sticky stuff. may need to wash and buff it out to completely remove everything
  14. i would cry if i ever had to go back to dial up
  15. just posting for anyone who may read this with the same problem. i got my sound to work. yeah! used the A/V cords, plugged them into an RCA to 3.5mm jack converter, and plugged them into my line-in on my PC. voila. now i am gonna watch me some spider man 3
  16. lol go figure. get it the way you want and you're already done. good news for me at least whenever i get to that point anyways
  17. ah i see. got my settings all up at least. displays on 1080p. so far so good, still having some sound issues tho. now my PC wont play music. maybe i'll try to reboot. EDIT: ah shit...still no sound. no optic cable anywhere on my sound stuff to plug in from the PS3. hmmm... EDIT EDIT: damn...just realized i put the A/V cable...which is output...to the RCA's on the subwoofer...which are also outputs. DAMN think i got another idea tho... EDIT EDIT EDIT : another failed attempt. tried a connector to run the A/V output straight to the speakers. that's a no go. am i gonna need some sorta box? did get my original sound working tho. just no PS3 sound
  18. ummm...dammit this PS3 is makin me feel stupid...how i get display up on the monitor? EDIT: i got it to display...but i gotta take the analog cord out from the monitor there an easier way to do this? tried playing with monitor settings. no go for me
