    also the slim ballasts are the digital ones, and the bigger are analogue. if i remember correctly, the digital turn on a little faster and are much more less prone to radio interference, although the chance of radio interference with analogue ballasts is still very rare.

    anything against using aeros? that could widen possibilities and save airspace some people say 15-16, some people say 14-16, some people say 12-16 sq inches of port. it all just varies

    zinc is good to help boost your immune as well. more as a preventative thing tho. also when you start feeling your throat start getting sore, gurgle salt water. or even regular water if you can't get salt water. kills something like 75% or more of the germs i was told

    two things i noticed off the bat, box height is 14" and port height is 14". that cannot be. if box height is 14", then if you were using .75" wood, the port height can only be 12.5". if that is how the port was going to be lined up however. also...a height of 14" and a width of .5" is WAAAAAAAAY too thin. i hope that was a typo lol

    not to mention it's a stock photo, a half ass description of the item (the ebay description doesn't count), guy has been an ebay member for less than a month, and has 0 feedback. i wouldn't even think about touching that auction

    i had fatmat in my explorer when i first deadened. didn't smell, but only maybe half of it stuck in the long run. tore/cut some of it out and replaced it with edead.

    in search of that video of the drake equation, i saw the same guy explain a 4th dimension. it's trippy to think about. he explains it on a very easy to understand level oddly enough, it's carl sagan's birthday today. found that amusing haha

    about life in space. ever hear of the drake equation? a VERY intriguing equation. here's carl sagan explaining it. you know how numbers don't lie. this will make you think to put a visual perspective on it, this is our galaxy. notice our 'location' now...this is further out. notice the location and size of our galaxy try to imagine the vast space of the universe. that makes my brain hurt lol.

    i think they changed it. they try to regulate shipping. what i do tho is just put free shipping and list the item as i see fit. saves me the trouble if the shipping happens to be more than what i put, or if it's less i don't have to worry about the person asking why i charged them so much for shipping

    a properly designed fiberglass box can sound as good as a properly designed wooden box. same way with a poorly designed fiberglass/wooden box. chances are, his box was poorly designed. timmy aka groundpounder2k2 (who has just reappeared here) had 6 memphis 15's sealed in his cavalier and i believe was hitting around 153 decibels on the TL

    you're right. the physical port length is how long the wood should be in order to attain the desired port length entered into the port length box. but...you did not need to add 3/4" for the baffle thickness. my calculator already takes that into effect and thanks for the plugs it makes me feel nice when i see people referring to my calculator

    now that is a beefy 8" sub i'd like to bring home to mama. i love that surround and cone. and that huge ass magnet. hell i love the whole thing. i can't wait to see some production/prototype pics. i too like the horizontal logo.
