    Coils will still look brand new, after being smelly for months. Resistance would also be ok. I'm just saying to the OP, that smell is probably nothing to worry about. If you've ever smelt a hard clipped sub, then compared it to the DC smell, they are different.

    My level 5 never smelled on 3.5k. I had a level 2 8m1 that never smelled. But the rest, yeah.

    I'm not talking shit, just to make that clear. DC subs tend to smell a lot easier/ faster than others. its not a strong "clippin the shit out of them" smell, just a light electrical smell.
