  1. If memory serves me correctly, "Penetration (Sunset 2003)" by Tom de Vos has some pretty good bass lines. (Decaf)
  2. Whenever I tune an amp that uses a bass knob, I plug the bass knob in and turn it all the way up before tuning. I only use the bass knob to easily/quickly control the bass, sometimes I don't want any bass, just a little, or all that it can give me.
  3. Have you tried Torres? His calculator is pretty easy to understand, and if you are having a problem with it you can scroll down and hit the 'Help' button which pretty much explains everything on the calculator. But you could always put all the information in this thread, there are a lot of people here that can help you.
  4. Well, only advice I can really give now is what I have already said before. Just take your time with your cuts! Good luck on the box bro!
  5. Just make sure you compensate for the blade before you cut, take your time with your cuts. It may be a pain in the ass going slow with wanting to hear them but you'll thank yourself when you go to put the pieces together. What I do, is just make the first marks for how long/wide the pieces need to be cut, starting the lines with a 90 degree angle ruler, then finishing off the lines with a 4ft leveler. All you really need for basic boxes is a skil saw for all of the cuts, and a jig saw for cutting the mounting holes. As I said though, have to have a steady hand, and take your time! That is the most important part. Measure twice, double check your measurements, cut once!
  6. It is always better to use a tool like the DD-1 or O-Scope to actually tune your amp(s). Clipping indicators weren't created to help you tune your system, they are only there as a reference point for you while you are playing. For your second question I cannot really say anything since I've never owned a Clarion HU or even played with one.
  7. If you have a steady hand, and patience, you could use a skil saw for every cut except the mounting holes, that is what I do.
  8. Nope, not just you. It is actually not that bad in person, you can barely even notice it in person. I think it is the angle I had it parked and the angle I took the picture. I just thought it was neat and wanted to see if anybody caught onto it, haha. And yeah, it is loud, but I am already wanting to grab another AQ2200.
  9. Haha...? Troll? The gas on these aren't bad, but I have a lead foot and love making the supercharger scream, so I only got like 27mpg before installing all this.
  10. Nahh, thinking about picking up coilovers though.
  11. Rom Manager is pretty pointless on any phone that has a locked bootloader, no clue about the Shift, but just throwing that out there. Set CPU is also pretty pointless since now-a-days as long as you can flash a custom kernel you can just edit the kernel within the ROM options (At least for AOKP), and I know there are apps that kernel dev's make to make edits easily with a GUI instead of using a Terminal app. And Titanium Backup is completely garbage, does more harm than it does good. I'd prefer to make an app pack myself and flash it after I flash the new ROM. Also XDA isn't really all that noob friendly for beginners, it is more of a developer site. RootzWiki is a little more noob friendly, but the best when starting out is to find a forum specifically for the phone you are going to be modding, there you will find the most help.
  12. Just some good ole' Bud Light earlier while finishing up my car
  13. I spent like $80 on one of those HUGE containers of Herculiner. Worked fine on my old sub box, and much other random things I put it on instead of letting the rest of it sit there and waste. I would definitely recommend it to other people for their boxes. You can get the smaller cans of it for pretty cheap, around here at least.
  14. Last liquidation around here only had Alpine and Kicker pretty much, and you were better off/paying cheaper by just going to Best Buy and buying from there. The atmosphere at auctions are just fun to be around though.
  15. Parents support me as long as I get my bills paid, they occasionally help me also. Girlfriends hate it and say I am wasting my money (keyword though, "my"). I have only dated 1 girl since I have had a system that liked it and would learn and help me if I needed. And loved going full tilt
  16. I found some random nut on my engine block when I had my Explorer that I used to ground, you just have to take your time and search around. About the fuse, if you are going to put one on there just put it closer to the battery, somewhere like 4" from the battery will be fine.
  17. Heat sucks even more when you're outside all day, hahaha. But I'm located near Richmond/Glen Allen area.
  18. Well everything came in today! Got the subs, sub amp, highs, and highs amp. Only thing is that we've been having record breaking heat here in VA and I work outside so its hard to make myself do a lot of work after my job. Hopefully I can get down to working on this next week when the heat breaks!
  19. Obviously you should have posted "tl;dr" before you said that...
  20. For now just a single AQ2200. Later on down the road I plan on grabbing another one and strapping them.
  21. It's because of being a convertible. I assure you I have the space to fit 4 12's and still have a little storage area (very small storage...) hahaha Haha at first I didn't scroll down and thought you were trolling. I normally don't post build logs, but I may try to throw a few pictures of this up. I normally get too much into the zone to remember to take pictures, or start hammering beers back too much to take pictures And the wheels are just stock MINI wheels that have been painted black.
