    i just recently bought a dc 1k amp and im goin to be powering my 18" lvl4 with it. With that said how should i set the gains because i heard its bad to have them all the way up (i use to do this with other amps before i entered smd ) i know you can use an o-scope but i dont own one maybe someone can throw me some advice thanx

    i know brand does matter but i used to have a kicker zx750 and a lanzar mxa4000 and the lanzar pushed my speakers harder and the lanzar was cheaper so idk i get confused as well still noobish on car audio
