  1. I gave him the design, So i think it should be good....
  2. If you are willing to lose A/C on your Chevy full size truck/SUV you can bolt on a Alternator bracket from a 92 Astro van. I know for sure this will work on the TBI trucks but im sure being that the 5.7L 350ci motors are all very similar that it may work on newer trucks as well. I plan on doing this mod to my 1993 Suburban. Here is a pic of the bracket. with a little work this bracket should be able to hold the AD244 and the large case CS144, I plan on using two CS144's I will post more pics when completed.
  3. 1997 Chevy blazer 4 door. 17ft 1/0. Front battery, through firewall antenna grommet, to back hatch all up passenger side to rear batteries. amps were mounted 1" from rear hatch panel. 1999 Chevy Tahoe 4 door 17 ft 1/0. Front TWO batteries, wired through antenna grommet on passenger side of firewall, wire ran up the middle between the seat, amps under 2nd row of seats. 1993 GMC Suburban 20 ft 1/0 Front battery, through passenger side firewall antenna hole wire ran under passenger seat, all the way behind 3rd row, to battery bank, amps mounted 1" from rear doors. 51' of RF 1/0 in all to complete my install.
  4. Bro if you dont know why you shouldnt por your doors and seal your sub box, then I think you should seek out someone with more knowledge of building a system and ask questions before you haul off and fuck something up. You seem to have a very good idea of what you want to do, but lack the know how to do it. Spend some time going through all of the different build logs here and you will learn alot. I learned my lessons the hard way and built alot of shit wrong before I learned how to do it right and it cost me a bunch of money in wire and wood. Just do your homework before you start building. X2.
  5. You should research what makes a woofer good.... buying 10 30.00 12's probaly WONT make you happy. All the "subs" you listed are like home audio WOOFERS...
  6. pulling the fuse is fine. I rarely tape off wires just in case the tapes comes loose somehow. Protecting the remote wire isn't a bad idea although I have never had an issue.
  7. You don't need to fuse the ground "-". You only need to fuse the positive "+" side of the circuit. You NEED a fuse within 12" of EACH battery, the closer the better/safer.
  8. Sold all my bangin vehicles. Time for some more build :)

  9. Pretty much. If I do wanna get rid of it, The Z28 books for 2K more
  10. After 5 yrs and 20 Grand worth of mods and repairs, Im over it. I loved the truck BUT I wasnt willing to drop another 3-5 grand to finish it. Paint, Rear end, Bumpers, Carpet. I just got bored. The truck took 1st at EVERY show I entered last year but I didn't wanna spend another dollar.
  11. I left the 22's on the truck. I PULLED all the audio, and TV's. Im using the 24" for my PC monitor right now
  12. No records. Engine bay is clean. Runs strong and interior is in great shape. The optispark and water pump look new. less than 1k miles on the top end work so I think (and the kids says) they were all replaced. you can see bright blue and orange gaskets so im pretty sure it was been gone though.
  13. I get FAT hook ups on tires and exhaust. I just cant decide on rims. I kinda like the stockers.
  14. The Camaro is CLEAN. The blazer had 170K on body 30K on motor, trans, T-Case, and rear axle I had ALL paper work for all mods, Drive train, interior, rims, paint. My blazer was VERY CLEAN. I just wanted something new. The Camaro needs tires, and exhaust is too loud for my liking. Pics of my Blazer
