yeah i don't know where you got your numbers from, but all that winds up to 3.94 cubes net, 9.14 square inches of port per cube, 39.92 hz tuning. Look right here on smd and get torres calculator and try again. Shoot for 3 cubes net, and 12 to 16 square inches of port per cube.

This. Biggest noob problem today is overthinking things. You don't need perfect 33 hz tuning, 5.0 cubes, and sub loading placement. Just aim for a general area, pull the trigger, and pound them subs.

Textured paint looks realllllly nice on a box. Get black fleck stone paint if you can find it. You want your port smooth though so use something without texture for that.

i don't know what's available in your area. but there's a shop around here that deals solely in used tires at $20 a piece. If you want a good one they'll let you choose it. Sorry I can't help more then that though. Free bump.

There's no such thing as perfect volume, you can only strive for a perfect design. Aim for around 18 to 22 cubes and 200+ square inches of port though.

This is just temporary until it gets warm and I can wall my accord off Thanks mount em however you want. but on a single sub setup, putting the subs on the narrowest possible side maximizes baffle strength. if you put em on the wideer side (the top in this case) put a 1" dowel top to bottom to strengthen it. i could work up a box that would be 7 cubes after displacement to go into that spot which would be on the small side for 2 15's but not out a problem. 18x38x26 port 16.5x5.25x21 single baffle (cause you're not talking about beasts here and they'll be mounted so that the top and bottom are damn near touching the top and bottom of the box) port would go all the way down 1 side till 5.25" from the back with a 1" piece to go along the back tuning about 34 hz. have fun!

you should be fine for a daily setup with the 3500. just make DAMN sure you upgrade electrical to go with it.

Not true. It depends on who comes on board as sponsors. I have a side business in which I am totally impartial to any company. I'd actually want general sponsors and not car audio companies for my idea. That way when I go to shows and other shops, we can show what they have in their rides and stores. Good point. The sponsors would make a difference. But even you with a more broad view of what's good would still be biased to say.. 10 brands. Going to shops that feature those 10 brands, etc.

The fact of the matter is. 99% of people willing to or wanting to be a part in creating such a show will be extremly biased to their own product. Ed here would push T3 no matter what. Steve Meade would push RF everything but subs (and possibly subs too). Etc etc. And that my friends, is not something I would watch. However, if the shows featured say.. interviews with random people > truely random people from the car audio world, and pictures of truely random installs, I would watch it. But we all know deep down that this will never happen.
