  1. get a DMM and check the remote wire voltage and supply voltage. Also try unhooking the RCA wires before cranking the engine. Try and narrow down where this is coming from.
  2. repost of a repost of a reposting repost.
  3. square subs don't work so well because they still use round voice coils and motors. Everyone knows you can't fit a square peg through a round hole.
  4. Look. It's real simple. If you like low tuned songs, and you go with too small of port area, you'll hear a nasty huffing noise. I've heard this noise from 4 18's on a 13x44 port (yes...) The rule of thumb of 12-16 didn't come around on accident. You can go smaller but you'll have to take airflow into mind and think about it HARD. Kerf bends, flare ends, route edges.
  5. while you're checking things, check the vacuum advance. they're really easy to check.
  6. torres box calculator, a saw, some screws and some glue.
  7. this lol... keep the memphis.
  8. this. theres no real reason to make a square port like that unless theres just a certain look you're going for on the face of the box.
  9. This Ride Is Useless Without Subwoofers
  10. guessing you'll be using the AUX input.. turn the volume all the way up on the mp3 player unless you hear it distort then turn it down. it's not rocket science.
  11. DC's new recycled paper cones....
  12. draw the bottom. push/pull to size. draw the 4 sides ON the bottom with the line tool. push/pull them to height. top gets tricky. you have to make it to the side and then move it to the box.
  13. hell if you lived close, i'd build it for you for free just to see how it sounds lol. as long as you paid for the wood.
  14. LMAO. kid got what he deserved.
  15. just remember the yellow wire is your constant, meaning it gets power even when the car is off. and the red wire is switched, meaning it doesn't have power when the car is off. test the red wire with the car on. check the fuse for continuity. and get back to us.
  16. I've heard seth's here and can agree that they are realllly bright sounding. keep in mind when people say SQ and mean it, they are looking for a perfectly flat response.. that's not to say the crescendo's don't sound good. cause they do sound good. they are peaky sounding though. highs will cut through anything.
  17. It's tuned to OVER 9000 hz. giver or take 1
  18. LOL. quit worrying about the bitchin little kids, as many people there are that sees your stuff, it will be impossible to please everyone.
