    damn, I'm off that weekend but .. 3 hours drive seems a lil far. No promises, but I ~might~ make it.

    mine's run along the outside of my frame.. since i have 4 runs going front to back, I used a piece of pvc and zip-tied it to th frame (well. newls1 did most of the work with the wire, to give credit where it's due)

    your first build go vented. Slot port will be the easiest.

    if useing those crappy subs.. 3 cubes. tuned around 30 to 34 hz. if you decide to spend the same amount of money and get something better, 4 cubes, tuned 34 to 36 hz.

    some heart warming stories guys, keep em comin. pics if possible! This dog has taken to me like we were always best friends The rescue place was calling her breeze (.. saints thing? ) I'm thinking about calling her Magdelena (maggy for short)

    Just picked up a 2 year old pit from an animal rescue center. I feel like I've done a good deed plus she took right up to me! Anyone else ever done this? Speak up! Straight on to pics!

    you can build a box any shape you want to given you have the time, patience, know how, FIBERGLASS SKILL, and so on.

    why would you want a huge tweeter behind your head? What are the specs on the box? How much power?

    you do know that eD provides suggested box designs with the option to buy a premade one (designs are free) on their website.

    Guys, the cap is hooked up fine. there doesn't need to be 3 wires hooked up to the cap as the power can go through the wire IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. just because you're used to seeing it with 3 wires doesn't mean it needs 3 wires. Still. He should just take it out as it's actually putting more strain on his electrical then it's reinforcing it.

    Voted the AB as well. Just be VERY mindful of gains and clipping and make sure you get the aluminum coils.

    lose the cap, or if you don't know any better and decide to keep the cap, put some ring terminals on those ends of the wires dear god.

    OP. you know in linux you can use some simple bash commands to do all this. just saying grep "the" /path/to/filename|wc
