I think you need to buy the box I built for 2-15's called "The Buttbox". http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=3161 It did a 142db on my epic-160 w/ old school Kicker CVR 15's in it...sealed box...and I just built ports for it that make it louder than my 4-CVR12s (according to BBP6) and my car burps a 146.3db on a TL. Nice lookin work so far, I woulda rabbited the edge of the sub ring too, but it will be fine as long as you sand it flat enough for the sub seal well all the way around or vinyl/foam & vinyl it. A very nice start bro. As I said before welcome to the forum. I see there's finally someone that can give me a run for my $$ in terms of yakkity-yack. On the RF subs being "ok for IB use" it's pretty much like saying "is a certain car ok for racing?" well, it may drive, and drive fast it just may not do it as well as another car/sub in this case unless you cater the environment to what ALLOWS it to perform well (as hinted at by Ih8punkrock i think...i.e. power adjustment but it's a "big boy" & should not catch on fire I don't think ) I am curious how that RF amp works for ya....esp considering Law's max has a 5channel. I'd say just focus on doing 2 if your dead set on BTL 18's. Otherwise go with smaller subs, and more of them. Maybe 3-15's, 4-6 12's....but 4-18's I think you'd be wasting $$$ buying subs you don't really have the air to run. Or you better be reeeeaaallly good at squeeezin a whole lotta product into not enough space. ~2cents.
