Find a random video on YT, plays in HD no problems....try to play video from my sub box and it changes to 240p and doesn't play. WTF

For a while now I've been able to just pause video as soon as it starts then switch to HD then it changes instantly and I can start watching, if I try to switch to HD while playing it just buffers and won't change (pausing it then playing shows its in HD but its still 360p). Today though no matter what only a couple of vids have played in HD

Just tested and not even 480p plays, just 360p which is the default

Well, i don't know. Maybe just delete all the cookies for youtube. Mine think it should default to sd unless i go full screen. Maybe its youtube trying to throttle bandwidth
