    I plan on running it with the car off sometimes (like when waiting for someone w/ the volume down). Isnt it also possible to just ground the 2nd battery and run the power wire to the monoblock? if thats all youre going to do, it seems like you shouldnt need an iso, and yes, you can ground to the chasis, and run the positive to the front batt, and the amps positive to the back batt.

    just run them in parallel, unless you plan on using your system with the car off. And for 2500rms all you need is a little battery, like a hc800 or a similar XS power. I personally wouldnt use yellow tops due to the fact i have seen too many go bad quick, but i have not used one personally.

    i dont get when people say that, bass is for you to enjoy, or do you like bass because you get attention? whatever, if you burnt up an L7 on 1000rms or even 1500rms, you did something wrong probably.

    Just AQ? Or all bass knobs? Just the AQ knobs. However some amps will put out more power with out the knobs connected. when i use my knobs on my aqs it does a little weird thing too. Got a pac lc-1 and its all gravy now.

    clip light doesnt show clipping, it has something to do with rail voltage iirc. It has nothing to do with the wave squaring off. DD-1 > Clip light.

    It attenuates singal voltage from the source unit. Amplifier (where the gain is set) comes after and then subwoofer after that. The PAC LC-1 only changes the 2v or 4v etc that comes out of the headunit. The amplifiers gain is set for the headunits max output voltage, so long story short, it can't go higher than what the amps gain is set to.

    Not trying to be an ass, but OP is trying to learn something and telling him something that you don't even know to be true is worse than better, it just causes confusion and such later on.
