  1. It's also in DC's section. Not sure why other brands are even being mentioned.
  2. i have never experienced that as an employee or a customer. Never go back to a place willing to do that.
  3. It is available erverywhere! Don't let me fool you though, my favorite brew is a local one
  4. I would put them up against lots of home brews. Plenty of craft brews too. They are much better than your typical mass producer type beer in that they don't seem to cater to the masses who like piss flavor for beer.
  5. lets not underestimate the quality of Sam Adams though. they make some really good beers!!
  6. Are you saying you can hear the difference between subwoofers that are wired in series vs parallel ? I can't wait to hear this explanation.
  7. Why don't we stop comparing him to sundown? It's a 12 spoke basket and a magnet with extended back plate like everyone else. Good looking sub guys!! I love the hate on this 12 spoke basket...but everyone else's 12 spoke basket (identical basket) is ok somehow. why is it only a problem when he does it?
  8. I gotcha. I just thought I might be reading something wrong. I really just wanted to make sure what I thought I was reading is what was actually being said.
  9. of course! but >2x RMS on seems even out there for us.
  10. 5k watts on 2.4k worth of sub RMS? am I reading this right? seems ridiculously excessive to me.
  11. Well he would have to do something about his amps with another XL. That adds up quickly.
  12. what do you mean the gains are backwards?
  13. what is the max volume of your head unit?
  14. Yes, everything. The 1khz and 40hz lights should light up at some point also, but that just means it is detecting a signal. The light you need to worry about is the RED distortion light. When it STAYS on is what you are looking for. Little blips can be ignored.
  15. you have the tool in your hand to find out what you need to set it at. step 1: Hook DD-1 up to the FRONT RCA output of your head unit. Use 1khz: 0db track, turn your volume up until the 1khz light stays on, then back it down until it goes off. Write this number down! step 2: Hook DD-1 up to the SUB OUT of your head unit. Use 40hz: 0db track. With sub level at 0 (or whatever the minimum setting is) turn the volume up until you see the 40hz light stay on, then back it down until it goes off. If the light doesn't stay on by the time you reach MAX unclipped volume from step 1, then start turning your SUB LEVEL up until the light stays on. If you want, and I suggest it, set the sub level somewhere a little lower than clipping level to set your amps. Write these numbers down (max volume and sub level setting)! Step 3: With your head unit set to max unclipped volume, sub level turned to appropriate level (as determined in step 2), using the 40hz: -5db OR -10db track (depends on what you listen to most), slowly turn your gain up until you get a solid 40hz light, then back it down until it goes off. Step 4: Set your head unit to max unclipped, using 1khz: 0db track, turn your gains up on your mids and highs amp until the 1khz light stays on, then back it down until it goes off. Step 5: Enjoy
  16. why are you setting the gain between 2 blips? has this been answered in all of this already?
  17. but you still have to have something to verify your signal isn't clipping.
  18. But keep in mind they have no way of knowing if the input signal from your headunit is clipped. The clipping light is only checking the output of the amp.
  19. http://www.maydaybrewery.com Love this place. The jubilee is my favorite from them.
