What vehicle and how much space do u have?? A pair of RE SEs, DC LVL3s, Kicker L7s, Alpine Rs, and so many other would be perfect off that power. Do some research and you'll be able to find more than enough threads that are asking what will go well with around 1500w.

What amp(s) are you running??

I'd suggest something like 9ft3 @ 33hz w/ 75-95in^2 of port area using 2 8" aeros.

What's your budget and how much power are you running?? Also what are the approx. measurements of the area you'll be putting the box in??

Crunch GP3000D-Pro is definitely price wise on the cheap side for 3k watt amps and will do rated power @ 1ohm.

Are you talking about just strapping 2 amps together??

The auto tranny that was in the previous 430 has damn near the same amount of control over shifting as a true manual does, but with all the positives that an auto has.

Congrats on the trip, Hawaii is soo nice.. I went a few years ago and it's beautiful there, but not somewhere I'd wanna live though.

The double clutch transmissions that are coming out are amazing, especially the PDK tranny in the new Porsches. I got to drive a new 911 today with the PDK in it and it's a significant amount better than the previous trans that was in it. Extremely smooth shifts(up and down) were what really stood out, which can't exactly be said about the previous auto trans in the 911s. Also the shifts are done so quickly it's incredible(much faster than any human can) and even in a "regular auto" mode it picks the right gear when pushing hard. I've driven the 430 before with the auto trans and I really don't know how they can make it much better.. I've heard just quicker shifts and a little smoother, but the previous one was great IMO. Can't wait to get my hands on a 458 once my boss gets his in, whenever that will be. He is an avid car collector is one of the people that gets the new Ferrari's before most others do.

The big issue is the fact that the OP's amp is extremely overrated and isn't exactly an ideal starting point for upgrades... I'd personally suggest selling the amp + CVRs locally where you stand to make much more money off some unsuspecting high school kid. Then try to save up some money of your own and start with something like an AP15001D for like $150. It does rated power @ 1500w RMS @ 1ohm and is one of the best deals on the amp market today. Then buy a good quality single 15 and build a proper enclosure for it and you should be more than happy with the finished results.

Hulu is great for TV shows and is perfectly legal to do, but I'll PM you in a minute with the sites that I use.

For daily I wouldn't run 6kw to a single Mayhem by any means, but for a pair it would be perfect.. Burps is another story though, a single Mayhem in the right enclosure shouldn't have any issues handling a 6kw burp. Another thing is running an AP30001D @ 1ohm, it can be done but not very successfully. The 2 boards don't like seeing .5ohm each for daily and they gain a lot of heat, without gaining a lot of power over running it @ 2ohms daily like suggested. Why do u have to run it at 1ohm daily?? Being a dealer I'd think you'd have access to a pair of either D1s or D4s and wire each woofer to 2ohms daily. Also if you were to call AA and ask these questions to them they'd be more than willing to help you out.. You being a dealer they will actually let you know what the woofers are truly capable of handling, rather than abiding by the warranty guidelines if they were speaking to a regular customer. At the shop I used to work at we used to talk to company reps all the time about what the products can truly handle, not just how we suggest that the customer runs them. What exact shop do u own?? Just seems very strange how everything is worded and the questions asked, you being a shop owner and all.

According to Expo's calc #s look to be - 8.68ft3 net(after port/sub(s) displacement), 140.25in^2 of port area, and a 41.1hz tuning.. This was using port length of 16".... Using a 16.75" port length the only difference you see is a tuning of 40.71hz + 8.6ft3 net, which is so small it wouldn't make a difference. Using the woofers + power you're running I wouldn't suggest running that large of an enclosure, that high of a tuning, or that much port area... I'd suggest like 8ft3 @ 35hz w/ 100-115in^2 of port area for the woofers/power you're running. To calculate bracing just find the volume of a cylinder(what ever size dowels you're using) and add that final number into the sub displacement box(at least when using Expo's calc). I'm a little drunk so I wouldn't exactly quote me 100% on all these numbers lol.

It will only be worth it if that's what you truly wanna do with your life... Trust me even very high paying jobs can't make up for going to work miserable every day and not being happy with what you're doing.

I'd personally go with like 4ft3 per woofer, 2 12" aeros w/ like 140-160in^2 of port area, tuned to like 34hz... You will gain a good amount by bringing up your tuning some and still retain the brutal lows. What is your voltage like with the yellow tops?? I'd guess that you'd see a nice gain if you were to upgrade your batts and build a proper enclosure with aeros.

You need to either enlarge the pic you have of Expo's box calc or list the box specs because that pic is entirely too small to read. Off the power you have I'd run a pair of 15" FI SSDs over either of the woofers you listed.

It's very dependent on the vehicle itself and how close you are with the person you're installing for... For family + close friends I do it for a few beers and some wings. For others I'll charge like $40-70 depending on the HU, sub stage install(running power/ground wires + hooking up sub(s) $60-100+ depending on vehicle and how big the install is. Other things like glass work, component installs, and other things all very in price for me to do them.

Holy shit that's cheap, you'll prolli get a good amount of orders at that price... Hell I might even throw a few designs your way, just so I don't have to do them for upcoming builds.

The best "real cheap" woofer around IMO are the Hifonics Hifis... They can be found for like $25-50 per woofer and are great low cost woofers if you're doing a bunch of them. Personally with the power you have I'd just buy a single 18" FI SSD fully loaded, build a stout enclosure, and call it a day.

With a single 18 + not a lot of power I'd suggest going much larger than that... What are the actual dimensions that you're working with??
