For a company to "sponsor" you, whether it be totally free product or just a discount. They have to know it will make them money, and a lot of it. I've been on a few Teams in my short time. Sundown, SSA, etc... But I always send massive business to these companies so they feel it paid off. How can you, prove to companies that sponsoring you will make them money?

That's more then a 10% difference in wire. If you tested the voltage from the power wire and ground wire at amp and got no voltage then your ground isn't good. Redo it.

They will both sound just fine. It's all enclosure dependent.

Fixed. First, woofers power handling isn't based on ohm loads. That's a little odd. And around $200, the only new 18" that's good is the Obsidian 18". It's a rated 600rms driver, but if you tune your amp right then 1100w shouldn't be to much of an issue.
