  1. You should probably learn a little more before stepping up to bigger power.
  2. I will ALWAYS push Kenwood Excelon to people with a smaller budget! I just installed this one in my friends truck, sounds really good and is quick to search through iPods too. 4v outputs USB/3.5mm input on faceplate iPod/iPhone through USB $149 With FREE shipping. KDC-X595
  3. Yeah except for I have the money for one. Someone is selling one to me for $650 and a SAZ-3500 for $550. There ya go. That's a good setup. Unlike everyone one, I'll tell you, any amp will power any woofer. Will a BAMF5500 push the SMD to it's max? No, but it would put a clean 2,000w to it and move it a little.
  4. We clamped 3204 out of my M3a starting at .35 rising to almost 1.5. And that was with a weak electrical. Ill have new clamp numbers next week.
  5. This is so badass. I can't wait till its released. Once it is ill order both a DD-1 and a CC-1 at the same time. :-)
  6. Do you think stock electrical would be able to handle that? and one 15 move enough air? ha, I thought about going .5 ohms once or twice. But just wasnt worth it to me. I'd recommend the Big 3 upgrade with 1/0 and 1/0 to the rear. See how bad voltage drops, if it's low 12's get a secondary battery. And Yes, a BTL 15" on 2,400+ would be a very large step up.
  7. I think as long as your responsible with the knob this setup would be great. You've shown your more responsible then most just by not running the SSD at .5ohm. lol Get a second AQ1200 Audio Que 1,200 And get a Fi BTL N2 15" D1 and strap the amps at 2ohm. Fi BTL N2
  8. 1 18" kicker solo x on two pd2000, sounded good, but didnt like it cus the woofer would get smelly That didn't do a 150?.........................................
  9. Well I set my gains with a mouse, some cotten, and a small Asian man.
  10. You don't want SQ. You just don't want the woofer to sound like shit. If you wanted "SQ" you'd get like a single 10-12 on llow to moderate power. As soon as you put something that large into a car the rattling starts. Killing the "SQ"
  11. Watch in HD!!!! Cody's 1997 Nissan Hardbody walled with 2 DC Audio Lv4XL 18"s wired to a DD M3 @.5ohms. Equipment: Sony Double Din Touch Screen 2 DC Audio Lv4 XL D2 18"s in an 18^3 enclosure with 360^2 of port tuned to 40Hz!!!! 1 DD M3 @.5ohm. Rockford-Fosgate door speakers 2 per door. db Drive A5 4-Channel wired @2ohm bridged 2 G31 batteries with db Link 1/0 and stock 60amp alternator
  12. what amp? What is the port/woofer configuration?
  13. Not bad. There is more in there though. What's the enclosure? Got pictures?
  14. Still waiting on woofers. I am so excited! I'll go ahead and type up the rest of the system. Head unit is a Pioneer Premier 800PRS All the 1/0 wiring is Knu Koncepts KCA Speaker wire for the doors is the Stinger 9 in 1 Speed wire. Speaker wire for the subs is db Link 8awg Stock door speakers running active off the Sundown SAX-100.4 5 Deka G31's power by stock alternator. DD M3a for the sub stage. Which will obviously be 2 SSA ZCON 18"s
  15. I have always, and will always have a Yellow Top under the hood of my vehicles. I love them. For a true 2,000w though, I would defiantly add a second battery to the rear. If money is an issue, and you want to match battery brands, look into the Optima Blue Top G31's. I ran them for a while and they were great.
  16. Quick update. Got a battery from my friend for free pretty much. Lol. All I did was give him a few feet of 1/0 and installed his SAZ-3000. So, now 5 batteries in battery box. And its all full!
