  1. it looks like once its on that the back tires are forward more. do you need to move them back some? or is it just that when you lower it they scoot forward and when at driving height they move to the middle? just curious. the red bars look awesome and its good to hear they made a noticeable difference
  2. Dmm is a digital multimeter. You can get them cheap at a hardware store. But they tend to be inaccurate. I have a $65 craftsman one and its as accurate as my friends $300 fluke, granted it only shows two decimal places. But they can be had for cheaps
  3. You get a ground, constant, and accesory. Pretty straight forward. On that car it would prolly be easier to run a constant from the battery and tag ignition in the steering column
  4. Damn those are sexy woofers. And x2 with cj. This suburbans gonna be off the hook!
  5. damn i was gonna post an audioque link but it seems like their sites down right now. wtf. but ya i agree. Fi Q, DC lvl 4 or AQ HDC3
  6. i have 8000k in my headlights on a 55w ballast. they match my 6000k 35w hids in my fogs. both are ddm tuning. ive heard the 55w ballasts wash out the color on the lights so thats why i got 8000ks for my headlights. but ddmtuning.com is definitely ftw.
  7. hahaha dude he must have a d16 swap in that beast! (insert facepalm here)
  8. well heres my xs batt pics. i took some next to my hc2000. smaller plus almost double capacity ftw! very satisfied with the d6500 nate! im looking forward to ordering a d5100 very soon
  9. I always tell people to think of a wave how its smooth and round. The clipping is like the mouth of a jack-o-lantern. Squared off
  10. what is your rear battery bank like? with multiple batteries you may get away with just one run. but id recommend 2 runs to be safe. so 2+ and 2-
  11. most people just use a skeleton method then stretch the fleece over it. theres a couple fiberglass dash builds on here
  12. ^^^^^ this guy will know. hes wiring a stupid amount of speakers in his saab.
  13. an amp doesnt see speakers. just the ohm load. so with components you wire them accordingly on the crossover and then you will get whatever load they advertise. now if you were mismatching the speakers, tweets, and crossover idk what you would get.
  14. well thats why i never used batt terminals. but then i got my kinetik and had bolt terminals
  15. i may be wrong but i think those terminals are primarily lead. if your using ring terminal style ones id try these
  16. ya that could be a dilemma. the knu batt terminals have a plastic cover over them though
  17. ya i totally forgot about the knukonceptz ones. i have one of these that i never used
  18. kicker ones on amazon. expensive i know. but is this what your lookin for?
  19. the level 6 basket looks just like the aa smd basket. it must be pretty strong because those are both heavy woofers with huge motors. function>looks
  20. 14 volt batteries need to be charged at 16+ volts. I'd imagine running them on your stock alt wouldn't hurt them but they would never be fully charged
  21. Sounds like something could be wrong with the woofers. Or possibly just a turn on pop. Most aftermarket headunits use a "soft" turn on so its gradual not immediately on. You could use a resistor on the remote wire. But I think this is unlikely to be the problem
