What kinda battery you have up front? I'd add a battery in the back and see if that helps atm. Best thing id say if u can't afford a bigger alt atm, charge the back batt up every so often if you get one.

Didnt you make a thread asking about an amp earlier? Could of just added to that one IJS But anyways it all depends on what kinda budget ur working with. If that sub is 1000w RMS then you want to find an amp that puts that out @ 2ohms since u'll wire ur sub down to 2ohms. For example kicker makes alot of 2ohm stable amps, there are a lot more but that was one right off the top of my head. Headunit wise ive ran kenwood, alpine, and pioneer and loved all of them great decks and cant really go wrong with any of the choices.

Good battery up front, bigger alt, big 3, another battery or 2 in the back. capacitors are a waste of time in this case.

Id explain to him what you think, if he still wants to have a setup like urs build it for him. If he comes back not happy (expecting more) then he can foot the bill for the rebuild also.

This thing is a BEAST! Thought it was going to be alot worse sitting in the back, not bad at all. Thing about it is you'd think ur ears would hurt sitting in this thing, but its the total opposite. I was looking at the droid 3 at my local verizon store i liked it alot, but then i was informed about the Droid Bionic thats due out next month, i think im going to snatch that up. but if i had to chose between those 2 it be hard but i think id go with the 3. Good thing about having a 4g phone it will be ready for 4g when its available in ur area.
