  1. lol It's more difficult for people like me to understand what have been said, when there is spelling problems, or when you use acronyms. I speak French, and my English is from school (and reggae music !!!) : sorry !!!
  2. Looks good ! I'd love to try it on my box : I have a beautiful blue carpet but I don't really like carpet. I will try that some day, but it's not cheap at all ! Not used to ft, inch,...: how much is needed for a 3.5ft3 slot ported box ? I will have to do the maths !
  3. It's a NICE score. It must be very good on music ! And your box seems to be on the small side, it doesn't take a lot of room in the little CRX.
  4. If you like Pioneer deck, just buy the better you can afford. For $200 it may be hard to find a top-notch one! But you will be happy with any good Pioneer. Look at the Alpine 9884 or cheaper; the 9886 needs the Imprint processor to work well. Got to their official websites to have all the info you need.
  5. The BL's should be good with that amp : they don't need to get full power to play well and please you, even if they can take up to 1500 watts (with no clipping). Get the BL's instead of the ssd's, if you can afford them. Or get one first, and the second when the money come. It will just cost you some wood/mdf. Take a look at the *** woofers : 2 trash's would be great on that power, or 1 or 2 junk's !!!
  6. What the ...?! Read all the posts, and you will see that he had his 2 questions answered, Dude !!! And he can still ask for more informations.
  7. Thanks for your quick answer. My next step will be a new battery, and the only choices I have in my country are XS or maybe Optima!
  8. With the same alt, a new bettery (more powerful) will give better voltage readings? The alt will produce the same current, will it be able to charge the new battery correctly ? If it can, that means that I can start saving for a new (XS) batt to improve my system !!! Let me know Nathan, please ! Sorry for the "thread hijack" !
  9. there is a big sale running at db-r on Sundomn amps : take a look at the 2000w one
  10. Do you think I can find one for a Toyota Auris D4D ? Would it be good to run one in that specific car?
  11. I am interested in your answers. I need to kno what's happening. you seem to have a good electrical system, with bad results. I have the same results with a stock electrical system (that I want to improve) !!! Waiting for informations !
  12. x 2 If you want output AND sq, take a look at the 12" or 15" *** junk / sundown saz1500 combo. Ported or sealed, you will love it. You will have all your warranties at the *** shop.
  13. It seems like people love them both! One thing to look for : delivery time. How long will it take to get each sub? I don't know about DC, but Fi subs are made on order, so...
  14. You seem to have space for, at least, 2 10" subs in a ported box! or one 12" ported, without any problem !
  15. oh!!!!!!!! sorry! I forgot to take the dimensions of the battery. F%$@ Will tell you soon!
  16. "Everybody" loves DC here! There must be a good reason! Maybe I will try a DC sub one day.
  17. Sorry, but I'm French, so I can't understand everything here !!! "a good sixe" : what is that ?
  18. Ohh, that is cool !!! Tell me what I can do, and I will save some money for that!!!
  19. It is the 2007 Auris. 126 hp. Do you know this car? I don't think it has the start/stop technology alternator, but I will have to look for that. I never heared about that, is it the system that stop your engine at red lights and start it when you hit the accelerator (is it the word for the right pedal ?!). If it is , I don't have that on my car. The engine works until I turn the key on off !!! For the dimensions, I will take some measures when I get to my car this afternoon (it's 12:15 am right now, and I'm at work !). We have a dealer for XS batteries here, but I am afraid of buying something that won't help my electrical system.
  20. nuff respect ! Keep on working on good products for us !!! We love them!
  21. Hi, I have some electrical problems. I have about 1200 watts rms from my 2 amps. I am on stock alt and stock battery on my Toyota Auris 2.0 l diesel. When I start the car, I can read up to 14.13 v - 14.06 v for a few minutes with my system playing (hard as often !!!). Then it starts going down to 13.8v - 13.6v. If I put the a/c on, it goes to 13.3v - 13.25v. I think it's normal to loose some voltage after a few minutes, because the alternator "works" hard after the start. But I would like to play at around 14v everytime ! What can I do ? I will put a secong 0/1 wire for the ground on the battery. The big3 is difficult to do : the alternator is very difficult to reach. I will have to take some parts away to do so!! and I am not good at mechanics at all. Can a good AGM battery do something to help my voltage problem? I don't want to run a second batt in the back, as I have no room left , with the big box I have ! I am pretty sure I will not find any HO alt for my car. Thanks for all your info.
  22. Just get ONE sub, a 12" or a 15" (I'm quite sure it will fit), in a good custom ported box. Audioque seems to make good products, they have a lower line of subs that can be good too. You can take an amp from them, or buy used. You don't have a big budget, so keep it simple. You must keep money for the wiring, the accessories, ... With this budget you will have to do all the instal yourself ! If possible, get some deadening material for your trunk : secondskinaudio Damplifier for example, look at their forum and/or website. Save some more money, and, later, you will upgrade your front speakers( don't need rear speakers) and buy a 2 channel amplifier for them. Good luck bro!
  23. That is a gooooood amplifier !!! I love mine! Get them before they gone for ever !!!
  24. That is the best thing to do ! You can even get a single powerful woofer and a beautiful custom box, with the same amp. Save some more money, sell the "r" (you can easily do that, I hope so !), and come back here to look for the best woofer(s) you can buy.
  25. Thank you for these informations !!! It's not always easy. I speak French, and I can understand English, but I did not know what all these letters mean. I am very happy to find this thread.
