    yes, a phone cable splitter. that is very cheap, and can be found at any hardware shop. It works for Sundown amps, I don't know about yours.

    It should not be too hard to cut this box where you have the sealed section. And then glue it back with less space. I think it would be better than bricks or wood in it ! Good luck. But this is a small setup ! don't expect too much from it though !!!

    The Fi bl is a very good sub. If you're looking for output, get the bl, the Q is not for you. The Q can be loud, but not as loud as the bl. Get all the options you can. You have a powerful amp, don't forget that ! I'm not a big fan of AQ subs.

    Don't cut your truck ! Change the subs, go bigger on size. Can you fit 2 12's in your car ? You have a beast amp ! The idea of using less SA8 is not bad at all. You could try that, it would be easier than selling all the subs to get new ones.

    Never look at peak or max ratings on subs or on amps. Only rms matter. If you have a 600 w rms sub, you should be happy with a 400-500 w rms amp. No need to give the sub more than its rms rating, and remember that a sub doesn't need the full rms to be loud. Box and install are the bigger parts to be loud. Cadence is a good old brand.

    If the sub is rated for 300 w rms, why do you think it can handle way more ? Because of the 1000 w max rating ? give it 300 and that's it. It really doesn't need anything more, only a good box. Or it won't last long. good luck

    It WILL be louder, on the meter. From experience. There are much better subs than those AQ hdc and you know it. They're not bad, they can be loud and take a lot of power. But it's hard to say they sound good. Just my opinion, I'm not an expert. Get what you want OP.

    Ook. Sorry ! I don't know about those subs. Can't tell you nothing ! From 1500 to 2200 watts rms ? Only a meter can see a change, not your ears. You need to double the power to hope for a 3 dbs increase to hear something. Take a look at the DC website for good subs !!! Or Sundown, or Fi. You can find great subs in the For sale section too.

    Get a bigger battery in the back. The RF 1500 is a very good amp. But you can find cheaper ones, like the Sundown saz 1500, or even the DC 2000 or something. the market is full of 1500 w amps ! Don't focus on amp power, the box is really more important. A sub doesn't need its full rms to be loud, or to please you !

    It must be easy to sell those boxes and subs locally ! It would give you enough cash to get 2 better subs and a good box. You could do way more than 126 db. Keep working !
