the first thing you should do is get a dmm and set it to OHM and make sure your at the correct ohm load, you may be wired to low

I could be wrong but i thought that if you put your dm on the + and - of the amp to see the final ohm load when you play music you can see the ohm rise.

Wood Glue is strongest way to hold wood together, it creates a perfect seal and if applied right creates the most about of surface area for the tension of the box. That being said, bassface made a good point that the wood around the glue will actually come apart. and chris there was no reason for the glue to come apart unless the box was wet at one point it was never applied right to begin with.

a clamp meter or a DMM, put the dmm on ohms and watch it while you play music, if you have bad rise you'll see it there
