  1. That would be pretty strong just use your glue wisely, and also you might wanna glass the interior seams just to ensure your structural rigidity.
  2. I think that the numbers look good, and i would say that 1.5" thick would be approriate, but definitley no overkill at all. EDIT: Maybe a wink more port area. But as it is it is within range.
  3. Tax time (actually get some back this year), Hearing the pay offer in January for my freshman intenship...maybe 150db's depending on said offer lol.
  4. These are the Bose 301 Series I. They have like a Series VII now and they all look alike lol. But sef in for pics tomorrow, just throw it in here if you want.
  5. blazer is 39 wide, 30 deep, and 30 tall behind back seats, 4 18s is a ton of space i would say in anything other than a truck (blowthrough), or suv you would 100% have to wall.
  6. Just shear age, the foam surround just dry-rotted and disintegrated over time. I might see if forevrbumpn could recone them and do something with them.
  7. Ya it does look a bit shifted, I guess these are the oldest speakers I have ever looked at lol.
  8. Ah i see, to me pyshically they dispersion of the motor force would not be radially equal...just seems weird they would try that. Anyone have any other info on it?
  9. K so I pulled these 8" woofers out of a set of 25 year old Bose 301 speakers my gpa gave me. The surrounds were trash so i just replaced them with some $7 woofers off of partsexpress.com. Anyway wth is this? It is a square motor, have I stumbled across something awesome or just weird?
  10. I sent you a PM, so check that out if you want.
  11. Ok well if I went to look at it/shoot it is there anything i should specifically check on the shotgun? Also where could I potentially sell said shotgun? This would be my first personally owned firearm and I just don't want to get screwed.
  12. Ok so i have my system for sale on CL, the four infinity twelves, and the amp, its worth around 300-350. A guy just offered me a Mossberg 535 w/ ghost ring, ar15 collapsible stock, and it has been ceramic coated olive green. Is this a good deal? I dont know how guns depreciate or anything. I mean new the gun is 500 from gander mtn. Just looking for advice. And is anyone familiar with Indiana transfer of gun ownership stuff?
  13. you can do the 2 18's in the wall and get a 3500 watt amp like an aq or a dc .5k. get the 270 amp alt, get a nice batt up front and 2 nice batts in the back. A "run" is a length of wire from the front to the back of the car.
  14. Back to doing box designs if you need any just let me know!

  15. If i can come up with the resources for a lab test I would be happy to conduct one if no one has by that point in time. (well documented by video of course for all the haters) Also i am working on an idea for the thing we talked about via email back in like June or July.
  16. A better way would be to use a sheet metal of similar thickness in a lab with a directional microphone and use a different piece of sheet metal for each damp that way there is no possible residue on the metal, plus after multiple tests a single sheet could start having minute physical deformations that could interfere with results over time.
  17. what kind of testing would need to be done? like actual in vehicle testing or like lab testing of strength, reduction of resonance, and stuff like that?
  18. The today show did a bit on it a while back and that was how everyone they talked to was. They had no idea why they were there or anything.
  19. Omg people are so stupid lol, "abolish money to fix the economy" lulz. Does anyone there know why they are there?
