    you'll definitely like it i had my a 270 amp unit in my old car which was volkswagon passat unit ran 2 years and 4 months no issue and i dropped at 12.9 at idle i sold the car back around july or august

    i went to napa on my way home to get a new belt for my mechman 240 amp alt so i brought it my alternator in to see what belts they have that would fit so i still have the tag for what the alt put out at 1800 rpm and 800 rpm so when he saw that my alt will do 246 amps at 1800 he looked like he was about to shit him self and was wondering why do i need a alt with that kinda output his reaction made my day lol

    have you gone to 4xspower.com to see which one will fit under your hood and what do you plan on running as far as amps so they can know what would be best to get

    mechman makes alts for this vehicle i had there 270 amp unit in a 99 passat 2.8 liter v6 but they make make their billet tech units for them as far as battery i believe you can fit a 3400 under the hood i would check your measurements to be sure but according to xs power site the d4800 is the direct replacement
