yea thats what i meant when i said it gets kind of crazy, true larping is just too much for me, but i dont mind watching some guys do an all out steel sword fight, my friends suit of armor is 120 pounds and he weighs 240, so in full suit he walks around at 360 pounds, granted not everyone has such elaborate armor, but ridiculous nonetheless coolest thing is he forges his own armor

also, i have about 40 vids myself of this type of stuff, my friends borrowed my uncles RV for a trip to arizona for a tournament, the stipulation was i had to go with them so i could keep an eye on the RV and such, needless to say not my type of entertainment, but i got a free week long vacation in Arizona

i know quite a few people that do this sort of thing, ive seen it doen with kendo style sticks, they call them shinai's, rapiers, and also seen full steel, with all steel armor some of this gets sort of crazy, it wasnt nerdy back in medieval times when thats all you had, a guy with a sword used to be badass i dont go for the larping in which they kind of do real life dungeons and dragons, but the people i know deal with the history and such of medieval times and they learn and teach european sword styles and the guy that runs it used to be 44-4 in MMA, so he may be a nerd so to speak, but try to take him in the cage, lol he got tuberculosis and is now not allowed to practice MMA professionally so he took up teaching MMA as well as european sword styles, he teaches 7 different types

Could someone design a T-Line enclosure for me?
nCOMP1337 replied to Stee-Z's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
more than just enclosure and tuning goes into blowing hair i know t-lines get loud, but i dont know how much that changes when you tune higher, also depends on what sort of ported box, i think some perform better than others -

does it matter how much higher than the subs Fs you tune, i would think it does, but like i said not lots of experience -

at the least i wouldnt argue with forevrbumpn about t-lines i wonder if 94retta is thinking they function the same as a normal ported box, i dont know, but i always thought they played well at least a half wave down and half wave up, but i could be wrong, i know they have nice range, but i dont have tons of experience designing them -

i have texted while in the car, but if in car i use speech to text and i only do it at stop lights, if im not someone stopped, i dont even bother with the phone, i have a dash mount so it sits right in front of my face almost, so i hit a button, click speak and then say what i need and say who to text it to, but its rare if i need to text while driving anyways, besides that i dont ever hear anything cause always listening to music, cant hear phone over music

I did a vector drawing of Hayley Williams from Paramore, it is based of a friend of mine's drawing they did of her, based off a still photo. Illustrator is not my program of choice, but its the best when it comes to vector work, this took me a few hours to do. Here is the original still image, then the sketch, and then the vector drawing

4Ohm vs. 2 Ohm
nCOMP1337 replied to ClarkB's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
you will be lucky to get 700-1000 rms out of that amp its not puling 1500 rms per channel or even 750 rms per channel with only 70 amps fusing but the channels are not bridged internally, so you shoudlnt have an issue wiring them like you want -

ahh, you got me confused, i thought you were gonna wire the subs in parallel with each other then to the amp, as long as your amp doesnt have b ridged terminals, you can wire each sub by itself in parallel and then each sub to its own channel and get a 2 ohm load what amp is it though -
4Ohm vs. 2 Ohm

if its a 2 chan at 1500rms, than it would most likely be doing 750 per chan plus 2 dvc 4 ohm subs wired in parallel would present a 1 ohm load not a 2 ohm and if wired in series gives it 4 ohm load, is there another way you will wire it
