Nah, its a slot port like the first one you posted. cool, but you can use it as future reference..........but i think you get the picture.

if you box looks like this ...or something similar that doesnt include any of the side, top or bottom wall, then put "0" on common port walls

if you doing a "L-shape" ported box, it will be a 3 common port wall, since you have the top and bottom and one of the side as your "port wall". kind of like this.

Brutus amps is what I had, loved, and had it at .5ohms before rise on stock electrical. And handled pretty good.

Stick with that amp for now. 2k is plenty enough to get loud, but its ALL ABOUT THE RIGHT BOX DESIGN.

Luckily I bought a level 6 locally.....had fun with it until I tore the shit out of the tensil(3 times infact). But the price on it wasn't pretty........to me though. LOL

And that he made a box tuned to 29hz and he got a eargasm.....

I was just looking at your pics.. After you recone your sub check your amp settings as well as see if you have a major loading problem.. You will probably be back for another recone if you dont work on your install. In your pics u can see you tore the leads from the points where they sewn on from over excursion as well as the apparent issue of seperating the cone from the neck.. Doesn't really seem to be a tripple joint failure.. More of a load issue that caused all that damage from your install. good thing it wasnt me that tore this sub up, as i has the subsonic filter few hz below the tuning of my box and know better not to play any song below 29hz when i had it. and i really didnt notice that ripped sewn until you pointed it out. and the cone came off the spider when i pulled it out from my friend's car (long story short, had set-up, sold said set-up to a friend, a day before i was gonna tune it, he put a song that i believed was a clipped song, and called me up after when he messed it up.)

uh oh, thats not good. if it is what i think it is , triple joint failure. this is what it will look like the cone ripped apart from the spider and VC joint. so i took the cone off and the spider was still in place. Which, of course, require you to recone. just got the parts at my local dealer and gonna pick it up tomorrow. and yes that is a level 5 15. edit: or the coil as everyone says. try pushing the sub and see if you can push it, if you cant, then yea, you are fucked. if you can, MIGHT BUT MIGHT have a fix it yourself.....but doubt it.

Is that 13v off the battery or off the amp?

Maybe it can't take .35 daily? Assuming because I'm having the same issue with my bc3500, voltage drops, amp shuts off for a mili second and turns back on whenever it drops a low note. Edit - voltage drops going to the amp, and barely drops on my battery.....kinda confusing but you'll get it of you really think about it.

Wow he not once stated any of this.Everytime I try to contact him he ignored me.he never once offered to send my sub back.I have nothing to lose nor would I lie. This just keeps getting better everytime.
