gotta do the rain dance bro!

  2. You would have to take it apart and resolver the connections when putting it back together , best bet would be to send it back to DCand let them do it
  3. My second XL 18" is on the way!!

  4. Nice review! I'm bout to order a pack for the roof of my Tahoe. It sounds like a tin can with one 18" so two in there will destroy it Can't wait to try it out
  5. with a 160A stock alt? 120A or 140A is the largest stock alts I have ever seen. If its a true 160A thats awesome My 2007 Tahoe has a stock 160 amp alt also. OP, make sure you do the big three in 1/0 along with the D3400 and you should be good
  6. Anybody know if the iPhone 4s can be used as a mobile hotspot? And if so how? Thanks for any help!
  7. Price for both the amp and subs shipped to 77573 Thanks!
  8. I've been waiting on this for a long time, can't wait to see what you come up with
  9. Meade did just FB that build, and if you notice it says 148 guests
  10. If your lucky enough to have Meade post one of your threads on FB it could happen, most of them are guests when that happens though
  11. sitting in my shop stripped And where are the photos!?! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128513-rickyfriery97s-burban-rebuildslow-build/
  12. i will eventually upgrade power, i know the pair of XLs will probally laught at the 2500BDCP. im gunna upgrade my electrical more first, and all new mids and highs since im still runnin the stock bose system
  13. once i get my newer one i will probably throw it in my 1 18" box and play it untill i get my new box built, thanks for all the input guys!
  14. I know I lack the knowledge that they guys that have posted in this thread have, I haven't been doing this as long as they have, shit I'm only 19. I never said I wasant taking their advice. Thanks for your input. I don't like causing trouble so I'm going to stop this conversation here.
  15. Ray, how much power is your buddy running to his pair in that box?
  16. You my friend are Ignorant a couple of people with the most experience and the most success with DC audio 18"s have chimed in and you not only chose to ignore them you insulted them by remarking what you think is better. I did not say I thought it was better, I didn't not say I wasant taking there advice. Gtfo of my thread with your bs I know damn well these people have experience with the same damn subs I'm running, you see where cj18 suggested 12 cubes net? That's most likely what I'm going with and eventually test smaller enclosures I'm not ignorant Ask them if I insulted them, if I did by all means I apologize
  17. Yup, this is my buddies 1985 s10 Had 5 in drop blocks in the rear before it was bagged, and drop coils in the front, no cut no rub Not sure on the tire size though
  18. yea i will probably throw it in my current enclosure til its broken in and take my time building a nice new enclosure i kinda feel like 10 cubes net is a lil small for 2500wRms for the pair, im thinking start with 12 cubes net and maybe make some removable parts to shrink the box and see what works better. im not interested in numbers this is a daily GP but i hope for atleast a 50 out of it
  19. Bump, im messing with some numbers now. if anyone wants to help out heres my max dimensions 48" Wide 22.5" Tall 32-34" Deep. Single walls except for double baffle, will be braced throughout with either dowels or 2x4s Also thinking about inverting the subs, just a idea. Displacement is .25 per sub correct? subs up por back
  20. If you read the post correctly, that is not the case. This is what I would reccomend. Or bump the new 18 in the same enclosure and rebuild once both have been broken in. I didn't think about running the new one in my current enclosure, I may just do that Good idea!
  21. I have one DC XL 18" powered by my RF T2500BDCP, it's been playing for a few months and is fully broken in I will have a freshly reconed XL 18" with the next few weeks, I will be running the pair on the RF T2500bdcp @ 1 ohm, will I have any problems with one being new and one fully broken in?
  22. Sounds like you got a nice build coming! I'll get some m2 subs eventually Workin with two m1 Xl 18s right now
