its probably not seeing how your battery died, unless the battery is no good. has this happened before? what kinda amp? do you have the remote hooked up to a switched 12volt? use a volt meter to test the wires with the car off and see if anything is pulling juice when it shouldnt be.

obviously check all your wiring, did it get hot after heavy listening or just at idle?

If I know I'm not gonna be listening to my system while my cars running, I turn the remote off with a switch, you should if your not gonna be listening to any music while its running.

I found about 4 I really like and all I have to say is GOD DAMN that shit is soooo loud. I normally don't hold full volume or even go to it for most songs, but I just had to with these.
